Yes! Best cafe. Food was delicious. Staff is great, very friendly and generous. The chips and salad were tasty. Milk shakes and ice cream were fantastic. The scenery and outdoor dining are world class. Legend.
The title of this resturant is Country Cafe however, the quality of the meal - ingredients, cooking/baking style and presentation - can easily compete with the fine restaurants in the major cities. Beside of the food, it is located in a beautiful country side among the mountains. The interior design and decoration is rustic and great too. You can enjoy seeing the vast old-school items hanging everywhere while you are waiting for the meal. I found the stuff polite and helpful. I look forward to getting back there again. I highly recommend them.
This place has new owners… amazing people who are putting lots of love and energy in it! Amazing food try the smoked salmon with poached eggs, great coffee, stunning views and most importantly a very relaxed and nice vibe. Highly recommended!
Mutton pie!!! Never heard of it until calling into here. Wicked as! and the cheese rolls are off the chain too...staff know how to make a decent flat white and the atmosphere is awesome! Great place to stop on the way through to the West Coast or Wanaka.Food: 5/5
Stopped here on the way back from the Blue Pools. Saturday afternoon, and they were just closing. However, the service was super. Had a bacon and egg pie, my wife had the vege quiche. They were absolutely superb. We also shared a cheese scone. Again, could not fault it. Staff took time to have a chat. Really great experience. Thank you

Called in for breakfast and a coffee. Wow, simply amazing. I will definitely be back here, just have a look at the photos. The fruit was amazing and fresh, I've never had that before and the dried thing on top of the salad was very nice as well.
N E W O W N E R S We are staying here in our caravan - the owners and locals are absolutely fantastic, very hospitable. The food here is incredible I recommend calling in here for a coffee and food - all freshly home cooked . THANK YOU TEAM FOR BEING SO GRACIOUS TO US WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN HERE AGAIN . What an amazing cafe, best yet in New Zealand. I would give it ten stars if I could. Everything was home made and tasty. Shout out for the sausage rolls, the pies and great sandwiches. My favourite had to be the raspberry and white chocolate muffin, heated up. It was divine. Apparently it’s under new ownership and it deserves to be a 100% 5 star place.
Absolutely amazing looking place with loads of quirks. Very busy when coach buses stop in. Prices are a little on the heavy side. Very warm and cosy with the fire going.
