Superb! We trusted the chef and boy did he deliver. Each dish and wine pairing engaged all the senses and very much pleased the palate. Every restaurant should have a forager on board, we loved discovering new edible flora we hadn't tried before. The wait staff displayed the perfect balance of friendly professionalism - lunching here was the perfect end to our South Island visit. We can't wait to come back!

We visited the bistro in Jan 18. Environment is fine but I cannot say that staff is in hurry. We wait ages on wine testing. And then when you buy wine in exhibition it cost $25 but when you have it in bistro it is $80! More then 3 times expensively! Really?! I happy with double but triple! Food was fine but costed enough not to be so.
