Used to be an excellent burger joint but has declined very badly. Firstly, the table we sat at was absolutely covered in oil residue and had obviously not been cleaned for ages. Secondly, the Burgers were sloppy and Patties black from a dirty grill/oil. The loaded fries were very soggy and disappointing. Would not recommend and will definitely not be going back.
$83 order went straight into the bin, barely made it through a quarter of a burger. Stale bun, lacked slaw/lettuce, dry and burned beef patty with hard black bits stuck to it most likely from build up on unclean grill, overall lacked flavour, horrible texture and was not enjoyable. The chicken strips were dry as if they were pre-cooked and reheated prior to packing the order and the chips were debatable. Nothing fresh about the order. We ordered the 'Dude Burger' $13, 2x 'Drive in Saturday' $12e, 'Starman' $20, 'Southern Fried Chicken' $11 and 3x 'Chips' $5e total $83 from Uber Eats, Brunswick outlet. I do not recommend and will not be ordering again. I'm actually quite confused by the other positive reviews on here.
Wow. What can I say. With burgers like this, I'm not surprised Major Tom is a Burger Junkie. These burgers are beautiful. One of the best burgers I've had in my life. The chips and chicken strips are also very good. The southern fried strips are delicious. They have a great range of condiments and if you like hot sauces they have one of the hottest. I could go on and on about the food. Trust me and order something greasy.
The worst burger we have ever eaten. Patty was raw when asked for it to be well done and ignored the request. Absolutely ridiculously horrible service when called the restaurant too. Both burgers were undercooked and horrible. Do not go here unless you don't really care what you eat.

Forever my favourite burger spot. Whether it was lockdown, pre lockdown or post lockdown, they never fail to amaze. The Jean Genie burger is a literal gem of Melbourne - I highly recommend adding an extra slice of cheese. The service is impeccable, the food comes out hot. Best paired with large chips and the secret sauce! The shop is more takeaway style in my opinion, so the food should be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home! 5/5 Unbeatable burgers
Not amazing, not hopeless. Pattie’s need some work! Really lacked some basic seasoning and were quite soggy. Chips pretty meh!

Absolutely phenomenal burgers made by a veteran burger crew, in a secluded little corner spot, themed a la David Bowie! The Velvet Goldmine is delicious, as are many of the other items on the menu. @major toms please bring in some shakes to go with your delicious burgers!
They have good burgers and the chips are nice and crispy. However, most of the time I don't get what I order. Meat well-done always comes as a medium rare.
