We are extremely happy with the quality of the van. Back up service is the best ive experienced.i would happily recommend this company to anyone. Looking forward to using our van again.

Would I buy another Majestic Caravan absolutely no way Would I recommend Majestic Caravans to anyone absolutely no way Majestic have you sign a contract that has all manner of penalty should you default on the agreed price, and yet when we went to arrange to pick up our van we were told it would cost another $900 for an item that was in our specification, written on their order form, and drawn on their own plan. No amount of discussion with them that they should adhere to their quoted price had any effect, and in fact I was told that "I had two options - Take it, or Leave it", and then I was hung up on. So there you are, about to set off on your retirement holiday and you have to take this treatment from these buggars. We've never had such a large number of problems with our previous caravans, so far our Majestic caravan has had the following happen in the first few months: # The floor vinyl has bubbled and ridged at every single joint in the floor plywood. Extremely unsightly and there doesn't seem to be any way of fixing this. # The microwave came loose after about 2 kilometers of mild unsealed road, the fixing hadn't been done properly. # While we were refixing the microwave it became apparent why the microwave had always been overheating - would you believe the plastic wrapping it had come with had not been taken off, this despite a large notice on it that said 'The outer surface of this cabinet is protected by a plastic film which should be removed before using'. Majestic had put a few knife slits through the plastic where vents were in the casing but left the plastic on. This could have had dreadful repercussions. Thank goodness the microwave came loose. # A wall plug was screwed to the plywood wall with no backing support and pulled out the first time I used it. # I have found concealed electric wire joints that have been twist jointed and taped instead of being joined in proper jointers. # The silicone jointing in the shower hadn't been done properly and water leakage damaged the wall cladding outside before we realized. # The front panel of the fridge came adrift and fell off. # One of the bed slats had broken and was just left for us to find. # We found it when investigating the bed slats as they had obviously been badly installed and squeak everytime you lie on them. No amount of alteration seems to fix this problem and I suspect the only answer will be for me to take them all out and replace them with a sheet of plywood. # The gas regulator instalation wasn't up to it and cost $200 to get right. # The front boot leaks. # The awning has been thrown together. It is really too long, the fabric has been cut short, and one of the supports goes right over the tunnel boot door. # Windows don't seem to have been installed carefully, a set of winder gear stripped out the first time it was opened, and two windows have to be pushed from the outside to get them to lock. # No toespace has been built into the double bed sides making it very hard to make the bed. It is commonsense to have these, Jayco did 12 years ago. # Cupboard and blind catches need adjusting and one catch had been put on wrong handed and broke. As for the blurb about Majestic being an old family firm that cares........don't you believe it. You can ask for things to be done but you may or may not get them. You will be told to "take it or leave it" when you go to pick up your van - assuming you are unfortunate enough to order one. It was a very unpleasant experience buying from Majestic. I am motivated to write this report due to running into other Majestic purchasers with similar tales to tell. If you are buying a caravan my advice is "Go find a manufacturer that cares about his product and his reputation". They are around. Talk to caravan owners and you will find them. This was my third caravan, the only one with a problem list like this, my first was a Jayco, it had one small problem that Jayco went out of their way to correct. Never Ever again. Be Warned.
