Lovely local fish mullet nicely cooked but totally under seasoned if at all. Chips had no seasoning and none provided so they were not nice. I’ve read here you have to pay for chicken salt. That’s a first for me a chipper with no salt unless you pay

I would say top 3 fish and chip in QLD. Crumbed fish Dory is so tender and amazingly juicy. What is surprising is that 2 pieces of fish for $9.9!!! What a deal!!!

Love their Batter fish and chips. Yummy. Every time we visit Harvey Bay. We bought our lunch here at Maddigan's Seafood. Prices are reasonable.Highly recommended.

We had beautifully-grilled snapper and scallops from Maddigans a couple of days ago, and are still dreaming about it, so it's very surprising to read some of the recent very negative reviews here. Certainly not our experience and would definitely go back for more next time we're in Hervey Bay. recommend

Great variety of seafood. Everything's local and take away food is made fresh right there. Waiting time can be a fair bit but it's all worth it! Servings are great.

Fantastic, couldn't eat all we got. Tried both battered and crumbed fish, both nice but crumbed is nicer, wasn't so fatty. The Perch was melt in your mouth. Highly recommended, phone orders are the best way as they get very busy
