The food was awesome!! I ate the calamari and it was so fresh and crunchy. The chips were also delicious. Wish I took a better photo but was so hungry didn’t wait. 10/10!
This was the worst fish and chips i have ever had. Dirty oil. Chips were brown with no crisp to them at all fish did not taste fresh at all. Only went there because i searched for gluten free options. Will not be back.
Don’t normally do reviews but I have to this time - worst fish and chips ever. Small chips, flake and potato cake. Everything but the fish luckily was terrible. Chips were cold and soggy and potato cake I couldn’t even eat the whole thing. Either there fat is extremely old or the potato cake was frozen for years - it’s was terrible. Would not recommend it at all. Such a shame cos it use to be ok here. Fish and chips use to be great and good value but it seems not many people can do it well these days.
Real shame, been loving Flippin Fresh for years, but something has gone awry there of late. Just ordered a fish bite pack and the fish reeked of ammonia, like at an eye burning level. This can happen when fish isn't handled properly, no big deal. But the staff just had no idea what I was talking about, asked me what kind of fish it was when I took it back to the counter and refused to smell it. The manager was polite and refunded my money but did not listen when I advised them to throw out the bag.
How hard is it to cook potato cakes and chips… apparently near impossible for these guys. Worst fish and chips ever.
Excellent food and service. We have been coming here for years and have always been very happy with the food. My favourite is the gummy flake, it is always fresh. Would highly recommend!
Best fish and chips shop, guys you must try. The batter was so fresh and crispy. The fish was so very fresh. Will be back for sure.
Have been looking forward to going here for the gluten free fish and chips for a couple years as my daughter and I are coeliac. Got there and sign on the window said no gluten free until Feb. Don't bother going if you are coeliac.
Delicious fish and chips. Best in Geelong and Torquay. Big pieces of fish with crispy batter.
Best flake i have ever had! So fresh & juicy, perfectly cooked & battered. Also the dim sims are amazing! The way you batter them so its like a battered steamed dim sim is fantastic! : def will be back!
