What a peculiar place to visit while at Sydney. It was 10 min walks from Milsons Points Station. I walks right on it just when they opened the parks. It looked so much fun with a lot of attraction for kids and adults. I felt the theme park kinda frozen in time as they intentionally preserve 1930s vibes and art deco style.nnBonus points that you also could get a view with unique angle of of Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Highly recommended. Easy to get to via a short ferry ride from the city. Stunning views from the higher rides. Great mix of thrill rides and plenty of tamer ones for the young ones. Has automated locker storage too which is super handy. Saw the Dream Circus while it was on which was quite a cool experience for just another $10.
Mainly closed in the weekdays when its not school holidays but still a few sideshow stalls and small kids rides open, a couple of food stalls too. You can still walk around good chunk of it and its worth seeing for all the art and facades. Its a historic park too with a lot of history including the tragic fire on the ghost train incident. Its truely an icon of sydney and I hope it always remains where it is. Also great for pictures of the bridge and Sydney opera house.
An iconic adventure in Sydney. Took the kids here on a Sunday morning, it wasn't busy at all, very happy with the ticket line, staff are so helpful and friendly. The rides were alot of fun. Only issue was the Ferris wheel wasn't in operation the day we went so I was a bit dissapointing. The park is clean, nice food and drink options. Best view of the harbour Bridge to!
I LOVED my experience here! I only had the chance to attend for an hour and 15 due to other commitments but it was well worth it.nnThe rides were engaging for both adults and children. I went on the Volaré, Wild Mouse, and the Devil's Drop slide. It has a good range of thrill rides, family rides and funhouse style games. There's also themed sections. In my visit there were the Stranger Things and Squid Game interactive exhibits. An extra fee applied to these, so with limited time I stuck to the main park.nnThis isn't just a novelty in a pretty location. For thrill seekers and families alike, this is a fun half-day to full-day activity.nnAs long as your expectations are in check this isn't Universal Studios or Movie World this is well worth your time.nnI took the train to Milsons Point, though it has a ferry dock directly out front. This could be a fun and visually impressive way to arrive in style.
