Great views of the Sydney Harbour, Harbour Bridge and the Opera House while you stroll through the amusement park. Fun day out with the family. They always run specials around Halloween, Chinese New Year, etc. Check out their website. If you don't want to ride the rides, you enter for free which is awesome! There are 2 cafe options and seasonal food/drink stores inside. Coney Island section has rides that need closed shoes, something to remember when visiting in the summer. Can get brutally hot with very little shade in the summer months, plan accordingly.

My kids enjoyed the rides. Good way to spend a Saturday or Sunday here with family. The kids gets different colour wrist bands that they need to wear according to their heights which tells you what rides they can get on. My girls loves the merry-go-rounds and the big ferris wheel.

Love the place, a good place to spend some time with the family. There were 2 rides under maintenance apart from that all good. Room for improvement in the Clooney island when you do slides with the sack in, pretty much a lot of people were getting hurt with their hands getting scars due to it grazing the slide. I have seen in other places where you put a dress which covers your entire part of the body. I would appreciate if Luna park could get this sorted and do something similar to that.

Good for kids. Minus one star for the ticketing system which is designed to extract maximum $$ from the parents. Edit: would go more often if the the ticket system didn't mean parents have to handover 2 x $50 = $100 each visit. Ps Luna Park - as parents we're too old for your rides, we're just there so our kids have a good time. There's plenty of cheaper options in Sydney.

Luna Park is super fun, if you're looking for a night out that is different from the norm. The rides are heaps of fun. Try and go when its less busy. The rides tend to be quite short and it's a bit of a let down to wait for a such a long time to get on, only to have it end soon after. The bar at the front of the park has some good cocktails, but it's really expensive. To be expected, I suppose. The best value for the park is to get the unlimited pass online. When you buy online you can get a two for one deal. This is heaps cheaper than the full price of $55 per person!
