Worthy of it's popularity - great spot above the bay. Facilities currently being upgraded for upper half of the campsite. Good base for walks, beach visits etc. Get there early to ensure you get a decent site, or often anything at all (by 9am).

A fabulous spot. 51 campsites, well laid out. Flushing loos, showers and camp kitchens. Kangaroos forage through the campsite. Beach and views are fabulous. Surrounding flora is gorgeous. Pity there are so many 4wd allowed on beach right near campsite ... relaxing on beach is not so relaxing. Nearby Thistle Cove and Hellfire Bay has great beaches with no cars allowed. The walk along coast to Thistle Cove has stunning views and is an easy 2 hours return.

Lucky Bay is an amazing place. It’s very popular and hard to get a camp spot over the busy period. Camp here if you a fully self sufficient as there aren’t many facilities. Only 2 hot showers. I’m pretty sure they are about to add more an another camp kitchen. I still thought it was an awesome place to stay while visiting the National Park.

By far the best beach we have seen on our WA extravaganza! We thought we had seen it but then we came here. When you see the beach you will know why and why the campsite fills up very quickly. Wake up early and get there before 10am to secure a spot. Easier if you are sharing a spot, if in a bigger vehicle it may be a longer wait. Jeff the volunteer manning the camp bays was a delight and only added to the amazing experience. You don’t really need much when you have a view like that! My only criticism is the lack of showers but according to Jeff is already in the pipe line. When the new communal area is built -> 🤙
