Fresh ingredients, mostly well executed. The zucchini flowers would have been amazing if they had stuffing. The gnocchi was delicious and the pizzas delivered on freshness and flavour. This place is busy and bustling attracting groups, families and couples. It can get a little loud.
Really great casual Italian with nice outdoor seating. Came in an evening and night both times sitting outside for sunset or just passing traffic along Oxford street. Really good vibe both inside and out with mood lighting and excellent atmosphere. The food is incredible and great wine range including orange. Staff are really welcoming and prompt, price is reasonable. Would highly recommend for nice or casual Italian.
Absolutely amazing pizza and pasta! I've come here several times and loved the food the drinks and the service every time! I can't wait to come back to enjoy a dessert, we were just too full from destroying one pizza each! Thanks to all the guys for an amazing night with my wife and father
If you dig a truly luscious thin pizza we had a margherita with a tasty tomato base and wonderful soft, chewy dough, don't go past a Love Supreme. Named after a beautiful John Coltrane song, this small place offers one of the best wine lists in inner Sydney. Try a luscious fruity red from a region in Italy with your meal. You can thank me or the easy going staff later. Vegetarian options: Good pizza and pasta options for the vegetarians, as well as a couple of tasty vegetable dishes.
4.5 stars Bosko Vujovic, the man who made Arthur’s Pizza a rite of passage for Sydneysiders, is the king of the thin at Love Supreme. This Paddington pizzeria sits behind a fairly standard coffee-shop style street frontage. A long thin galley runs alongside an open kitchen housing an Italian wood-fired oven that cooks pizzas in three minutes. The galley widens out into a high-ceilinged, contemporary industrial dining room. It’s a great place to sink a beer—the Wildflower Organic Table Beer Sour $10/each—to the sounds of Japanese Breakfast. What sets this pizzeria apart—besides the aforementioned light, thin and crisp bases—is making the widest possible use of organic ingredients. Standout green olives and pistachios join juicy slices of blood orange and ribbons of fennel $16 in an enjoyable pizza companion salad. Sardines, filleted by hand, are the stars of Gianni $25 a white-based pizza with red onion, more fennel and green olives. The thinnest possible slices of Dutch cream potatoes tangoing with sweet caramelised onion and pungent Adelaide Hills blue cheese make Tito $25 another white-based star from the pizza menu. I’d like to explore more of these foldable thin-based pizzas that sit ever so lightly in your stomach. The other must-try here is the gelato. The fior di latte simply “milk” made on Cleopatra’s bath milk is a thing of beauty. The blood orange sorbet isn’t bad either…
Robbie Williams's under appreciated classic portrays an English male refuting the idea that society won't accept his belief of what love is – raw, unrefined and boundless. ' ~ Just over a week out of Sydney's tumultuous lockdown, I find myself gathered in a space not mine or someone else's home, yet around a large table with friendly faces and greeted with sincere hospitality by the keepers of this famous house of pizza in Syds. The gravity of the occassion is enjoyed in the present, volleying banter across the table in between bites of crispy dough where the fermentation has been pushed out to give it an even bake – the perfect vehicle for the fresh toppings and quality produce. And these are inherently the stars of the show at Love Supreme Pizza, whether it's a starter, handmade pasta, pizza or dolce, everything is an enhancement of what is organically already there, much like the friends that share the table. Raw, unrefined, boundless
Been to this place twice, both meals served hot when it was very busy, one served tepid when it was very quiet. Service was pleasant but in a very low touch diner way, so don’t expect to be asked if everything is okay with your meal. Homemade pasta was excellent and perfectly cooked. Pizzas were good when hot. Nice place, good atmosphere, just a little inconsistent.
Tried to order a coke but was told they had 'cola'. Fine. It turned up and it was 'organic, sugar free' and tasted like a$$. Imagine if you ordered a glass of wine and it turned up as alcohol-free. They should have warned me it would be nothing like a coke. Pizza was small and overpriced. Just terrible overall. Will not be back.
Shared a mushroom gnocci pasta and a zucchini pizza with my bestie and both were absolutely fantastic. The service was also excellent, and the venue has a very nice aesthetic and feel to it. Would go again!
Good atmosphere, the place is spacious. Delicious and fresh made pizza, good flavors, we tried TNT and OLE, both were very rich in ingredients. The staff is very friendly. The service it’s quite slow, the only thing it’s that I’m fussy with smells and it’s a bit Smokey inside, probably because it’s a very enclosed place. But definitely I would come back!
