A delightful cruise with great narrative from Captain Tony. We discovered many old haunts and revisited memories from many visits around the Lakes. Mel’s scones were next level and very generous. She also makes cute Bag Tags on sale @ $10! A great gift idea or keepsake. Thanks for your efforts.
We walked in for the 1pm cruise without pre-booking and were lucky to get the last seats just before it left the dock.nThe captain was very knowledgeable and shared a great number of insights on the way. The ride was very smooth except for the short rocking near the sea entrance.nThe vessel itself had upper and lower decks with each having it outdoors sort of space or windows.nThey offered tasty and warm Scorns straight out of the oven. You can self serve Tea and coffee. There was a toilet as well. The cruise took 3 hours snd the whole family thoroughly enjoyed it.
Really enjoyed this eco cruise on the Gippsland Lakes. Regular informative commentary from Tony while cruising at a relaxing pace. Much wildlife to see. Plenty of photo opportunities. Freshly baked scones prepared onboard by Mel were a real treat!
The 3 hour cruise was great, probably on the long side for those travelling with kids. Really welcoming and friendly vibe and the scones were fantastic. I would recommend.
Went on a Sunday afternoon cruise with them, the scones they make smell great while cooking and taste delicious. Travelling through the lakes there's no waves, just smooth sailing and sight seeing.nnThey do visit the entrance to the bay at the start and end of the cruise to do some seal & dolphin sightseeing and the water can be a bit choppy but that's only for a short period.nnThe boat is very comfortable, plenty of covered & uncovered seating with tea & coffee making provided onboard and has a toilet if you need to go during the journey.nnBring binoculars if you own them as you'll see a lot more as you travel down the coast.
