Lovely tasting dumplings. Every dish we got tasted so delicious. The soup dumplings were flavourful and juicy. Dumplings in secret sauce were our favourite. Spicy yet sweet, really well balanced. Would recommend little red dumplings!
Nice dumpling venue with a good atmosphere. The dumplings are fresh and delicious and there was prompt service. I liked how the QR ordering was linked and that you could add items to your order and see the total bill to pay at the end. Would love to come back againFood: 5/5
First of all the dumplings weren’t terrible. It’s the main reason for our visit , however some of them lacked a definitive taste compared to others. The chicken ones were a huge stand out , both the soup and pork steamed were very disappointing. We got the Szechuan oil with the normal pork steamed. The oil was lacking any substance or / heat which I love. Pan fried pork were decent except I’ve had better - seems to be a theme with their pork. The seasonal veggies were very crisp and the sauce was amazing. Pancake was meh , I’ve had better ones from the freezer section at Asian grocers. Iced tea was WAY overpriced. Decent flavour , however the serving with ice was minimal. We ended up ended up spending $85 for two people. Which is on the higher end but we did order alot. Won’t return in a hurry. Service / staff was kinda confusing they bought things out in a weird order. Ambience was decent and enjoyable - especially the cute little note on the mini board.
First time for trying by dumplings here. I love it. I got Vegetarian dumplings in sweet soy chilli sauce. It was the thing I have been looking for. I will go back absolutely. Nice place for dine in too. Shop is so cute and well decorated.
Pleasant ambience with beautiful furniture. Choice of ordering by QR scan or staff taking orders. I like the lamb ribs, where you get a plate of cumin salt for dip. I of 4 ribs is smaller and seemed over done or reheated? The dumplings that we ordered were tasty, but the chives dumpling stood out for me. Beef noodles altho looked simple, the noodles texture is good. Could do with a couple green veg. Steam veg was pathetic, hardly anything. $120 for 4pax to share 6 dishes, going home just filled. Not a bad feed. But the steam veg could be abit more substantial. Staff were helpful.
I’d give 0 stars if I could. Myself and my group left hungry and annoyed. We specifically came here after a recommendation from a friend. My 4 friends and I dined here tonight. Half our party ordered with the app and half with the server because the app wasn’t working for them. We were the only ones in the restaurant, besides another couple. Half the order came out - the one ordered through the server. After quite a wait, I asked the server if the rest of the dumplings and order was coming. She turned to the kitchen and said it was still coming. After another wait, I asked again about the order and she went to check. She finally came out and said they never received it despite the app stating the order was confirmed by the kitchen. She said they thought we weren’t hungry so they didn’t ask. What??? At this point, it was nearly 45 minutes since we arrived. I showed her the app and explained that we ordered a number of items showing her which ones we ordered, including the panfried dumplings. When it was clear we weren’t happy, the server went back and forth between the kitchen multiple times stating that the kitchen was closed and her manager said there was nothing they could do. Then she said they can actually do panfried ones. We agreed and asked for one serve of dumplings, and waited. The wait took so long that 2 members of our party left and went home. Then the server came out asking if she could put them in a takeaway container, which we said fine to because at that point it was past closing time but then it came out in a bowl? The dumplings came out OVER AN HOUR since we arrived. They cost $15 for 8 dumplings. The panfried dumplings were the SADDEST excuse of panfried dumplings I’ve ever see in my life. They were soggy, oily, rubbery and doughy. Barely panfried and most definitely NOT crispy. Thrown haphazardly in a bowl instead of presented on a plate or tray as panfried dumplings usually are. Despite all of this, they charged us full price. It cost us over $80 for 2 noodle bowls, 4 cokes and one serve of tiny xiao long bao. They could have at least comped the serve of 8 dumplings or even our $3 coke but no. I can understand that the ordering app error was not their fault, but the way the issue was handled was frustrating and incompetent. I specifically stated which panfried dumplings we wanted when we realised the order hadn’t gone through, and it took ages for them to come back to say oh hey we actually can do panfried dumplings but then asked which ones we wanted. It was a waste of time. They could have given us drinks or water while we waited, checked in with us regarding our order instead of assuming or actually checked when I asked about the rest of the order the first time. There was only us and 2 other customers. It was clear we were frustrated. At no point did the manager ever come out to try to rectify the situation. The server was lovely enough, but we left unsatisfied and disappointed.
An all round great experience. The noodles are a great price and are full of flavour, $7 Tsingtao to wash it all down and you can't go wrong. I will be back!
Super happy with this place, and I can't wait to go back! We had the wontons and dumplings in chilli oil- both amazing dishes. The BBQ pork buns are also great. The atmosphere in there is also really chill and cosy, kind of like a brewery Food: 5/5
Yummy! We had a large selection of different menu items and no one had any complaints. Been a few times now, and they were accommodating for food allergy also.
Cracker! Had a special family lunch. Eight of us 2 - 60 years. Food was delicious, served quickly and hot. People working there were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommend. We will be back.
