Beautiful cozy cafe perfect for plant lovers. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent food and coffee, with huge selection of pastries and desserts. I love their avo smash and big brekkie. Also tried their soups which are delectable. My husband and I enjoy weekend brunches here and have taken family and friends for catch ups - everyone always happy after dining here. Lots of parking available. Reservations advised. Room for improvement for playground for families with kids. Otherwise, it’s our favorite cafe in Cambridge.
Totally worth the little drive from the centre of town. Food is bit on the salty side but that's probably just me ; Lovely space both in and out for a quiet or breakfast or lunch!
Today we took 99 and three quarters Eddie out for lunch. She said it was the BEST fish and chips ever and our meals were the same. The entire staff from arriving to leaving were amazing. Our coffee and meals were super hot and all our needs catered for. We have been to Lily Pad in the past and always a great experience but today topped it all. Thanks guys. We will certainly bring Eddie back soon.
Found this beautiful Cafe today 10 minutes drive from Top10 Cambridge.nWhat a hidden Gem.nStaff very friendly and service 10 / 10nFood 10/ 10nVenue 10/10nHubby ordered a big Breakfast big was the under statement it was huge and his eggs were perfect.nCoffee was best we have had for awhile.nCabinet food is a massive selection of yummy.nYou will never leave here hungry.nHighly recommend this cafe.
I love the location it’s a beautiful place! The fish and chips - delicious, HUGE piece of snapper and batter was nice wasn’t too thick/greesy. Unfortunately the chicken tacos and chicken burger wasn’t very nice, dry and no flavour. It was really expensive to. Service was ok, we felt ignored waiting to be seated as no one acknowledge us for a while but staff were friendly after we were seated.
