This is a really great hair salon. I mainly go here for balayage root touch ups and compared to a lot of other salons i've gone to in the past, the service at lily j is super quick and cheaper. My root touch ups only take around 3-3.5 hours whereas other salons in the past would take around 5-8 hours.  My hair always feels a lot healthier after going here. They are really good at hair colouring, cuts, and styling. 100% recommend this place. Also, the products sold at this salon are really really good. In my opinion, the products are better than olaplex.

Today was my 2nd visits to the place and I am still a happy customer. I men had a hair cut/ trim done and really like the results. Can be a bit pricey but I think it was worth it. I will surely visit again to have my hair done.Service:&nbsp;Hairstyling

Paid $170 to get shoulder length bleached blonde hair dyed black permanently. The hairdresser was rough with my hair and it has already faded to light brown after one month.

Lilly Teams are without the doubt the best. With great communications and cutting edge skills. They cater to your needs regardless of time. I’ve been coming here  for 2 years and was never left disappointed.  Results are outstanding. Sunny, Jinny, Jesse and Angelina are simply the best Team within the salon. Good job girls

TLDR: Do not come here to colour your hair.  I booked in for a hair colouring session with Lily J Hair salon to go from black virgin hair to an ashy purple after much deliberation between a couple of other salons. I chose Lily J as they were cheaper, closer and had posts on their instagram of the ashy purple colour that I was after. I had read some negative reviews when doing my research, but I was hoping I wouldn't be one of them unfortunately not the case  When I got to the salon, I showed the staff a screenshot of the ashy purple colour FROM THEIR OWN instagram page as a reference photo. The staff I was consulted by 3 staff said that was okay however warned me that the colour would not last long and would wash out within a few washes. This, I had already acknowledged would occur and therefore was happy to proceed.  So these two female staff members start to work on hair, nil major issues. When it came to the final colour reveal, my hair was a bright vibrant purple instead of the ashy tones that I was after. I pointed this out to the female staff and they just started complimenting my new hair. I think the boss knew I was unhappy regarding this as he came by and stated that he acknowledges that this was not the shade of purple I wanted however he felt that this was better for me as being so strong and vibrant, it would last longer. Whilst it was considerate that he was doing so in my best interests,  I did not appreciate this as  I had clearly stated and showed photos of the colour  I was after and I had even acknowledged and accepted the fact that the colour would fade quickly, however that was what I wanted and it was what I was willing to pay for.  I did not bring this up as after sitting in the salon for 3.5 hours, I did not want to sit  for longer for them to try to recolour my hair. The boss did stated that if the colour washed out extremely fast after a couple of washes I could come in for a complimentary re-toning.  So I went home and unfortunately the disaster does not end there. It turns out that somehow the staff got bleach on the back of my black polo Ralph Lauren T-shirt. I tried washing it, but it left a large bleach discolouration on my shirt, making my shirt unwearable. When I contacted the salon about this, they were apologetic. I asked for financial compensation which they followed through with.  As a result of the above, when my vibrant purple did wash out, I never returned to the salon for fear of losing yet another T-shirt to them.  Overall, it was  a negative experience and I would  not return nor recommend anyone goes here.Service:&nbsp;Hair coloring

EXTREMELY RUDE male hairdresser. I walked in to get a quote and book a day to do my hair- he just ignored me and said to ''come some other time''.  I had to leave after taking time off my lunch break to come to this place. Then when I returned after 30 minutes hoping to get a quote- he said its starting at $420 without even looking at my hair- I DO NOT RECOMMEND - A WASTE OF TIME COMING HERE  In response to the reply I received here- I would like to add that I did call multiple times before coming to this place but no one picks the phone, hence had to walk in.Service:&nbsp;Hair coloring
