Before you part with $36 per head yes, regardless of age, do yourself a favor and read the bad reviews. This place was nothing short of a Lego-themed circus—minus the fun and plus the smell of a daycare gone wrong. From the moment I stepped in, it was clear there wasn’t much care invested, unless you count the effort by the staff to pop more pimples than they popped smiles.nnGrowing up, I remember the magical Lego displays at Myer—this, however, was like a bootleg version from the bargain bin. I’m still scratching my head over the session times on the tickets. Was it supposed to limit the crowd? Because the place was packed like a can of sardines at a rock concert. Not to mention one ride wasn’t even working. Yay, value for money!nnAnd oh, the smell. It was like someone opened a daycare and forgot the diapers. For the love of all that’s holy, why does it smell like that? Melbourne has about a million better ways to spend $100 for the family. Trust me, avoid this Lego nightmare and treat yourself to anything else—like maybe, I don’t know, not being subjected to sensory assault for an afternoon.
What a fantastic place. It had something for everyone. The rides were great, the 4D cinema was fantastic, the playground options for my kids were awesome too. My eldest son did a workshop and had a great time!nnIt was one of the reasons we travelled interstate to visit Melbourne and we loved it.
My 3 daughters and I spent about 4 hours here.nnUpon entry, we received mini figures, which we were able to swap if we wished once inside.nnThere's 2 rides free as well as VR headsets $10 per ride or $15 for 2.nnThere was a 4D cinema which we all really enjoyed.nnWe also attended a creative workshop where we made a skate park out of Lego.nnThere were multiple stations where you are able to play and create with Lego.nnThere's also a cafe with sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, ice creams, etc.nnThere's 2 playgrounds.nnAn underwater section where you can create your own mini movie.nnThe best part was the mini Melbourne land.
Overall we had a great day, it is definitely aimed at younger kids and not as big as i had expected. We went during school hours on a Wednesday so were able to get around and do everything with ease. The kids were able to go on rides over and over and had a great time. The food wasn't great i had a toastie and it was barely toasted there wasnt many food options. The car pit was also lacking for tyres and wheels which was disappointing.
Went multiple times. The 4D movie was very nice, the lego figures are precisely made, counting every feature to make it as perfect as possible. The ride was short but entertaining. Enjoyed it there
