Very delicious, authentic Cantonese food. Flavours are on point and well balanced. The service was great which is not common in a Chinese restaurant, and it's really appreciated!We ordered lobster, Peking duck, duck fried rice and veggies, all made to a high standard and served quickly. Satisfying meal!
Tasty food good chinese restaurant walking distance to my hotel. Place can be cleaner some of the table clothes and spoon are not cleane.
Friendly, quick service. Partner enjoyed the beef noodle dish; however, I found the braised pork in plum sauce to be quite bland. Spring rolls were okay, but we asked for sweet chilli sauce and got sweet and sour sauce… also, they tried to give us fried rice instead of steamed rice.
Atmosphere? Non-existent. Service? Non-existent. Food? Non-existent since they never took my order after 15 minutes of sitting down and trying to wave the waiters down. I walked out. Absolutely no craps given about any of their customers and I looked around and there was about 6 tables in the same boat as I was. How about the cleanliness? Bro was walking around with a live mud crab drooping all over the restaurant then touched serving plates without washing his hands. Would I recommend? No.
This was a great Chinese restaurant. We were a group of 22 people and the service was super fast and very friendly. The food was delicious and we did not feel heavy afterwards. The food was salted perfectly. All the dishes tasted authentic and the servings were very generous. We will definitely be back again.
Servers were super inattentive and we never had our tea and water refilled . The waitress was so impatient and can’t wait us to finish the order, just went away. Food is average and overpriced. Not recommended.
Had our dinner at this fabulous restaurant. They serve authentic and delicious Chinese cuisines. The Hong Kong style typhoon shelter spicy crab is super tasty with fresh and indulgent ingredients. The whole fish is steamed with green onion and special sauce. The sweet and sour pork is dredged with flavourful coating and fried to perfection, then coated in a special sweet and sour sauce.
This is my go to place on the gold coast. Coming from singapore we appreciate chinese food and know the difference between readymade and authentic.. this place brings me home taste with its Fried rice and sambal belachan... yes they are on the pricey side but price for quality definetly. The aunty that runs the floor takes care of customers and friend went special requests are made. Great place for bigger group for sure.
This is in my Top 3. The food & ingredients are super clean and the chefs are great. The San Choi the BEST! Chicken chow GREAT. Special fried DELICIOUS! And the greens are just so…mmmm It is BYO and there is a bottle shop nearby. Or they have beer, wine & basics. I’ve seen a billionaire eating in there with his family. That’s just a fact. It’s got the perfect vibe for anything or anyone. From dates on a small table to a banquet around the Lazy Susanne inside. They have tables to accommodate 8 but could cater bigger. Staff are awesome. I actually love it.
I stayed in the restaurant upstairs of this restaurant, came down to find food, came in when I saw a lot of people in this restaurant. When I saw the owner was Cantonese, I ordered the roast duck and beef pot. The roast duck was delicious. Have such a delicious roast duck on the Gold Coast. The beef pot is also good. In fact, it is black pepper iron plate beef. The beef is tender and the taste is moderate. This restaurant is recommended.
