Having visited Legacy on one of their open days I was impressed with their professionalism and beautiful premises at Pyes Pa. When the need arrived with the passing of my Mum, I immediately thought of them. Fergus helped my sister and I through the process of cremation during our time of distress and he and the Legacy team were terrific. Fergus arranged for a special casket our family had chosen to be flown up from Invercargill and made all our arrangements so we had as smooth a grieving process as we were able to. This all helped us tremendously to be able to leave everything to him during this time and I would highly recommend Legacy to anyone. Thank you Fergus and the Legacy team for the care and attention to detail as well as the genuine respect you showed my Mum.
Our father died in January 2019. We opted for Legacy funerals because we were keen to support a business whose profits would flow back into the community. However it was the skill with which Fergus helped us sift through the various funeral options, his support of our family at that time and the seamless organisation on the day that has prompted this review. A delicate time for our family that was handled in a caring and skilful way. Thanks.
Just wanted to leave a thank you for the team for taking good care of me during the loss of my mum. Was a very tough time, and it was a long weekend when other places weren't answering the phone. I think the service was reasonably priced and the team were easy to deal, just took some pressure of me. Thank you Don and the team.
When my father unexpectedly passed shortly before my birthday I really didn’t know where to start or how to cope. Legacy funerals made sure they were there for me and my family every step of the way, I really don’t know how we could have done it without them. Organising a funeral while coping with the loss of someone seems daunting and unmanageable which of course it is but luckily there was a stand out employee at legacy, Fergus, who made sure I felt supported and not alone throughout this process, he was the saviour throughout this and gave me some really solid advice that I have carried the whole way through my process and will continue to do so; for my circumstance he asked me to look at my situation not as a loss but as a change in relationship. This is what got me through the hard parts. So, thank you! I would highly recommend to anyone going through loss to use legacy, the whole team are empathetic, conciseness, professional and extremely down to earth. The service was beautifully done, every detail perfect. Wouldn’t go with anyone else if god forbid I have to go through this again. Thank you to the team at Legacy from me & my family Remedy-Jean. E
A place you never want to visit, but very professional and respectful service at a sad time. Nice premises with good parking.
Could do with more parking.
