Absolutely fantastic walk! Absolutely gorgeous with a small creek on the side of the walkway! Quite a few stairs to climb up and down, but railings to assist you if needed! Perfect for a walk anytime of the day!

Long and beautiful walk, the greenery around is pleasing to the eyes, you might see brids like kingfisher and fantails. Please clean your shoes while entering and leaving the reserve.

LOVED IT. Excellent walking tracks, dense bush and expansive valleys, streams and waterfalls, and beautiful bird life. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND.

A well maintained reserved, some entrance is closed, so check before going. Beautiful water flow, bridges and steps.

A great walk - from Little Shoal Bay across the fields up through the bush to Birkenhead then down the roads to the Bay again about 5km

Walked there today by accident after following google maps directions. Feels like entering a whole different world and exploring a deep rainforest in south america or Asia. Amazing and out of this world experience.

Awesome bush board walk ,water fall aswell, lots of native trees and bush ,loved it.

Awesome bush walk through the heart of Birkenhead. Hidden rainforest feels like you are walking through tropical rain forest. Almost the whole walk is on solid built wooden walkways. Start from the top of Hinemoa Street and enjoy the relaxing walk down to Little Shoals Bay. The walk back is a bit tough at the end when walking up the last flight of stairs back to Hinemoa but not too bad. You can always take little breaks and enjoy the scenery.

Some really neat little waterfalls and a lot of birdlife
