My wife and I are extremely disappointed with Le Pine, just over 12 months ago our 22 year old son/stepson Tom was killed in a car accident. We engaged Le Pine to conduct the service and belied at the time that we had chosen well. We can not complain about the day of the service (mind you we have nothing to compare it to, and don't wish too in the future) , The issue we have is with the final bill, at the time of choosing options for the service we were advised TAC would cover the costs. We finalised our selections believing that what we had selected would be $1100 in excess of the TAC allowance (which was for extra catering, the food was ordinary at best), our final bill came in at almost $5,000.00 in excess/on top off of the $10,500 TAC allowance. At no point did Le Pine provide an itemised bill or advise that the final account would be closer to $5,000.00 than $1100.00 We have had numerous conversations with Le Pine in order to sort this out, more than 12 months & 12 days on we are still being threatened with debt collectors as we refuse to pay in excess of what we were advised at the time. It is our belief that Le Pine factor/prey on your grief and we suspect that most people would pay given the emotional turmoil that takes place. We do not think this is fair and or reasonable, we have now made it our mission to share our experience with as may as possible hoping they will not experience a double tragedy. Gavin & Ali
