Purchased this absolutely turgid pie from Lawleys. Maybe I should have looked at the options before blindly making a choice, but maybe Lawleys shouldn’t be selling this abomination. Won’t be returning.
Golly gosh what a rip off. I just ordered a pre made ham cheese and salad sandwich, which was quite small. No prices on the items, and I expected to pay somewhere between $6 - $8 but got slugged $13.80 for a very plain, ordinary sandwich. Gold plate price for a Deli sandwich! Don't bother.
Disappointing that they don’t make a good meat pie - VERY small amount of beef and mushroom filling. Over priced and lacks flavour.
Amazing baked goods at reasonable prices. Good coffee and atmosphere. Only a very small threshold so was able to easily enter with a wheelchair. Try the lemon/lime brulee, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely awful customer service. If I was the owner I’d be looking at your staff just by reading the rest of the reviews. Came in with my Children ordered our food and paid for sauce. No sauce so my son went to ask politely the rude girl said ‘are you sure you paid for it’ I had to go in to prove it after spending 50 Dollars. Who does that. Secondly asked once for water to the table, was asked how many glasses nothing. Asked a second young blonde waitress and was looked at like stuff on her shoe. No water sent again. As I’m in customer service myself it’s appalling
Wow. I can't remember the last time I received such poor service. Was at Lawley's in Shenton Park with my family this morning. Firstly I asked what vegetarian options there were, and I wanted to know what else was in the 'roasted vege' bagel. Very inconvenient, I know. Noone seemed to know, then I was told cream cheese was in it. Fine, I'll have that, thanks. Food arrived and the veges in my bagel were not roasted, more like steamed. Ugh. Decided to take it back and ask for something else as, for $11.50, I figured I should have what I wanted. Right? By this stage the staff were yet to crack a smile, and while I stood plate in hand at the counter I was greeted with 'yes?' I explained my predicament and was asked 'so what do you want'. I said 'well, something which is palatable would be great, can I get something else?' Still no smile, no helpful suggestions, no customer service skills WHATSOEVER. they looked at each other like I was the problem. I ended up giving them a piece of my mind as by this stage I was fuming. They brought out the replacement meal and I could not get out of there fast enough. I hope that the owners use this review as an opportunity to address the importance of friendly customer service with their staff. We are in business ourselves and would be appalled if our employees interacted with customers in this way.
Chicken avocado in Turkish bread not as good as used to be. Tried twice recently, confirmed. Chicken tastes like dry tofu, no flavor. Lack of mayonnaise or butter or cheese or any sauce. Whole thing is dry, fluffy and plain. Not toasted properly. Is a disappointment for the price. Needs massive improvement.
I ended up here when I had a cold, and the beef and vegetable soup worked wonders. It was tasty and oh so lovely and warm. I have not tried anything else yet but will definitely be back to do so. EDIT: I came back and had a BLT and it wasn't good at all, so I have reduced my rating from 5 to 3. The lettuce was all soggy and wilted and I had to pick it out. I felt kind of sick after too.
Great service, the staff there are very friendly and helpful. Food decently priced. Thanks for the good experience!
