Bad service and workers are disrespectful. most reviews here are fake look at the names. Prices are ridiculous.nNew liqour store has opened at the back I go there now for the service and the incredible low prices. They removed the truth.
Place is a joke honestly. Prices are ridiculous. Everytime I take an item to the front it's a different flamin price everytime!nThe long life milk Is impossible to get to and they don't bother to fix it.nStaff are horrible, new owners ran this place down.nCareful when buying produce and hot food refer to pictures i have received from current staff members and from my trips to IGA.nSome hot food has NO nutritional info so you have no idea what it is it doesnt even have time cooked and knowing the food safety laws they need to display time cooked on the bag and reduce after hours so customers are aware but that is not been done even after bringing to the staff and the manager Bens attention.nPlace is unsanitary the food is frozen and expired or gone bad already still they sell it to the consumers BE CAREFUL. I have brought to staffs attention and the manager just laughs it off or doesn't care. I heard his been demoted which is good now there's a new manager hopefully they have more Common-sense but I highly doubt it they've had an illegal little fish market in the dock where random people come in and cut fish in an unsanitary dock and then sell to customers. I even heard the manager Ben almost electrocuted himself cutting a wire with scissors also putting others life at risk not a very bright guy in My opinion.nnBetter off shopping else where.
I'm very grateful to the staff at the Laverton IGA, it's great to walk in and the first thing you notice is the happy smiling and friendly faces of the staff there, quick with a joke and always customer service is very important to them, they're not just workers doing a job, they get up early and come home late,every single day,so the things we need is right there for us and I appreciate them for the hard work and dedication.they are friends and influencing people in the community. So if you are near the IGA Laverton stop in and say hello.
