Dan Murphy’s Point Cook is a great store with an excellent selection of wines, beers, and spirits at really good prices. The layout makes it easy to find what you’re looking for, and the store is always clean and well organised. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to offer recommendations or help you track something down. Checkout is quick and efficient, even when it’s busy. It’s a reliable spot for quality drinks and great service — definitely my go-to store in the area.
Has it been renovated and upgraded? I don't feel any change. The prices of all kinds of red wine are getting more and more expensive.
Went in to purchase my last Christmas gift after a long day of shopping. After waiting in line, the cashier refused to sell me the item because my 14 year old daughter was with me and couldn’t produce proof of age. What a joke. I’ll never waste my time in a Dan Murphys again. The very young girl serving me thinks it’s fun being a complete inconvenience, and was so disgusting rude. I am in absolute shock with the treatment I received tonight.
Definitely one of the best DM's in Vic. Often find clearance items with great prices.
Very disappointing experience today. My daughters both over 18 went to buy some drinks for a party. As soon as they arrived, before even entering the store, they were stopped by security and asked for photo ID. They were with my 13-year-old niece, who was not going inside — they were still at the door — but security demanded ID from everyone present.nWhen my daughter explained that she couldn’t leave a minor alone in the car due to the heat and legal concerns, staff insisted the child couldn’t be near the entrance or go inside, claiming it was illegal. There were no signs displayed stating that minors are not allowed in the store. After going back and forth, they wouldn’t let them in so they had to leave & go to a different store.nFrankly, the way this was handled was unprofessional and disappointing.
