I commend Launceston Kitchen Centre for their excellent job in building and installing my new kitchen. The showroom staff were friendly, informative and very helpful, they patiently explained the different types of building materials and helped me pick out the colours and styles of the counter tops, cupboard doors and bench tops. The building and instillation process went quickly and smoothly. I cannot fault the service of their tradesmen as they were professional, polite and respectful. I am very pleased with my new kitchen and I highly recommend Launceston Kitchen Centre.

Had a kitchen done a couple years back, was happy with the outcome and decided to use Kitchen Centre for Laundry cabinetry and bench... what a saga, didn't want to come measure as they weren't the fitter, got them to measure regardless, the case manufacturing has changed with their "new" machine, it was not done as discussed, the measurements were incorrect but they blamed me for not checking their check measure, I chose a Laminex top that when it arrived looked like it was made of 2 different types entirely and joined poorly which was never communicated. To top this off their delivery driver remembered the kitchen drop off and noticed that the stone bench tops that were supplied by kitchen centre had warped and recommended I bring this up with them, after many discussions with both the manager and business owner (a rude man) I was fobbed of, "your fault for not confirming measurements" and "here's the supplier of the stone bench tops, we no longer use them and your issue is with them." Going by the reviews this place has lost it's way, all the best to them for the future but I definitely won't recommend.

Don't even think about it. And if you do, re-check every single measurement before you sign it off, because they take no responsibility for them. Like bench height (wrong) and widths of benches (wrong)etc. They measured our "normal" microwave (as one example of many things) but when it wont fit in the space they built, they say it was our job to measure it and ensure the cupboard was the right size for it. They do 50mm fillers down the sides of all the cupboards, its cheaper than cabinetry to build I guess. but you end up losing heaps of space. The whole experience has been incredibly disappointing in a $20K kitchen. They seem to have no idea how other kitchen suppliers work with clients.

It looked good on paper. ..installation was ok left a lot to be desired. .scratches on my new tassie oak floor that I had just installed. ..the cupboards and hardware are not good quality and what ever you do don't believe them when they say that the melamine tops are hard wearing. .They are NOT. .we have had the tops changed 5 times and they mark really easily. .we have to cover them with tea towels and cutting boards so we don't get any more damage. ...we will now have to only after 1year get new stone tops that's another $6000 on top ...my recommendation. ..CHOOSE your kitchen supplier carefully and talk to lots of people to find out the best quality. ...Launceston kitchens is not one i would recommend. ..
