Las Tapas

Small doors, right next to the St. Kilda police station, opens into a vibrant restaurant with great Spanish guitar music. Tables are very close to one another. The ambience with the chandelier, brick walls and the bar at the back make it all quite cozy and warm. A good place to catch up with a small group of friends. Food is delish, the manager is super friendly and kitchen is fast. We blew our budget, but was an enjoyable kickback evening.

An absolute standout restaurant serving authentic tapas. All dishes had beautiful flavors and quality ingredients and served with friendly service. Located in a non restaurant location, however this is worth the trip, to enjoy superb tapas with reasonable prices.

Dinner Date Great service, food, drinks and vibes! Super seasonal menu with fresh ingredients. Would highly recommend the mussels and churros with a gin and tonic.

Delicious food and fast service but don't visit on a hot day. We enjoyed everything we ordered and service was fast. However, we went on a 32c day in the evening. The restaurant is small and fairly cramped with no fans, no AC and a tin roof. By the end of the meal I felt sick it was so hot and stuffy. I immediate felt better getting some fresh air outside. Great place to eat but I absolutely would avoid on a hot day.

3 starts because the website is not updated, we were celebrating our anniversary and booked a table for lunch which was available in the website they cancelled our Booking one hour before, seems like they open just for dinner, even if in the website says" open from 12pm on Sundays" when they have paella. Beside the issue which was annoying as we need to find somewhere else for lunch the paella was tasty, no massive portions. The sangría 49$ jug, which i think as spanish people says "se fliparon con el precio" anyway. Was not bad. A Lil bit dark the place. Relaxing spanish music.

Small spanish tapas joint, perfect for romantic dinner or light meals. The food are pretty good and their menu is somewhat seasonal. There's an extensive selection of wines too. Our favourite was the fried Whiting. It was crunchy and perfectly seasoned. Portion is a bit small for the price. Food - 7 Service - 7 Vibe - 8 Price - $$$$

Amazing little tapas restaurant. The food was outstanding and I love how it is a seasonal menu! The mushroom blue cheese croquette is a must try! Cudos to the server on Friday night for a wonderful evening.Food: 5/5

Beautiful authentic Spanish tapas loved the seafood food but crazy busy atmosphere with too many people dining in a very small room. Only 2 people serving which made the atmosphere crazier. We dined there on a Saturday night so may be more people to serve would help?

When I arrived I was told they couldn’t find my booking. Waited 45 minutes at my table without being offered a drink or an explanation on how to order. No apology from staff. We ended up leaving and finding another restaurant.
