Lanyana Financial Group have been amazing. My case manager Lorna was so understanding and patient. She handled all the stressful paperwork and guided me threw what needed to be done. My new life starts today thanks to Lorna and the team at Lanyana Financial.
This company is ripping people off by charging you fortnightly payments while you still have to make your debt payments as well. After 2 months of no progress just the same questions over and over by a different person I went elsewhere with no hassle or drama from pathetic incompetent staff. Highly recommend to avoid this company as they also don't tell you till the end that they leave a mark on your credit rating for 5 years unlike what they say to sign you up. By the way no refunds cause you have to pay them to do nothing for you
The Staff are friendly and helpful but their whole system is exhausting and frustrating I called to put my debts into 1 easy payment and 2 months on I have had no payments to creditors and constant questions about my financial situation which I already answered if I could have got a consolidation loan it would have been much easier. They wouldn't even let us do our debts as a couple which was ridiculous I could have gone to my budget instead.
My creditors have reported that they have received no payment. I was paying regularly until covid lockdowns affected my finances. When I asked for my file because I wanted to know how much I owed, they told me the file is closed and I won't get my list of creditors and money owed.
Very helpful at the start calling to tell us what is happening. Than all off a sudden no contact what so over even when I have called and left message after message. I have tried emailing and get no response. Would be more helpful if they were able to send a quick email ect to let costumers know what is happening especially when we are paying them still.
My experience may be a run of bad luck with Lanyana and RJH Accountants, but I must share my experience to offer hopefully useful feedback to the business, and also educate others wanting to take this path. My experience was before COVID-19 hit. It took roughly six months from application to getting everything sorted, and a BUNCH of back and forth, and the outcome was a mix of positive and negative. The company was able to negotiate a settlement for my personal loan successfully, and save me thousands of which they also pocked a hefty chunk in fees and negotiate a long-term interest-free repayment for one of my credit cards again, saving me a lot in interest, which is fantastic. However, with my other two credit cards, one was only negotiated for six months interest-free of which I could have gotten myself had I called the creditors, and the other was successfully negotiated. However, Lanyana did not pay my repayment on time, and the bank terminated my hardship arrangement. The reasons for engaging a debt financial group is to alleviate the stress of having to deal with the creditors and the phone calls and to employee professionals and experts in the financial space that are well-equipped with managing repayments etc. This is where the negative came in. Lanyana and RJH Accountants in my experience were let down by two things. First, their administration tasks double charging me for my repayments and then needing to chase up a refund, overcharging me money that I had to spend hours working with them to get refunded, not paying the creditors on time and in one case, having an arrangement terminated, thus resulting in MANY phone calls from creditors chasing up payments, charging me fortnightly instead of monthly which resulted in me having to pay more than without their help. Secondly, their customer service let them down I’m studying my MBA and I still had to work hard to get a black and white “here’s the process, here’s the fees…” they can be very vague, they are slow to process things, leadership will say they want to make things right for you but when more mistakes happen they are silent, no accountability for causing more stress and anxiety with administrative issues – which fuels the fire. Depending on how much debt you are in, it might not be worth all the drama to get third party assistance. While I appreciate the financial help that Lanyana and RJH Accountants provided for me, it was a painstaking and anxious process and was not a smooth ride without mistakes along the way to receive a positive outcome. Again though, this is my personal experience and may not reflect the experience others have had. I have given the business a second chance after many months off, and I am currently working with the business to right some wrongs in my initial experience with them. I will update my review with the outcome.

Absolutely disgusting! Getting no response at all! Months of paying them and getting nowhere. Excuse after excuse sorry his left will pass your file onto Meagan. Sorry I am on holiday will pass your file onto etc ..., absolutely sick of the passing around and NO action since May!!! Will someone from Lanyana Financial Group please contact us and do something!!!!!
Absolute fantastic service and very friendly staff, Jacqueline was an absolute star and really helped me when I was in a great deal of pain with my back, unable to work and she made the whole process super easy to follow. Changed my life
The process is rather timely and back and forth imo but my consultant kept me informed as to where things were which I appreciated. Throughout the entire process all options were explained well.
