I've been going here since I was a little girl for yum cha lunch. They have the best egg fried rice. Staff are quick to bring out food. Nice staff, it can be hectic and noisy during the middle of lunch with so many people. The menu offers a large variety of different things to try, be adventurous, and try as many as you can. I highly recommend dining here.
Don’t waste your $$$ here. The Pan fried turnip cakes got absolutely nothing in it apart from flour and burnt black spot. This looks more like a steamed flour cake! Sure no cleaning of the burnt frying pan at all. Still left burnt black spot on the food! Ridiculous price. $8 for a plain cake. Cutlery is also very dirty! Other steamed dim sums with meat tasted bad and definitely not fresh. I’m sure they tried to get rid of the old leftover meat fast, so stuffed spring rolls and bean curd rolls with this meat which made it tasted odd and bad! We had gastro after! I have my eyes on YOU! If this happens again, I will definitely report to Council! Also, your sticky rice rolls ONLY have two grains of sticky rice?!! This is ridiculous! The food of this restaurant is NOT worth the money! Hygienic is also an issue. Toilet is terribly dirty! Waitress in causal with a long ponytail not doing her job. Been waving for long but kept ignoring us. She definitely saw us waving but pretended not looking! No service at all! This restaurant is definitely overpriced!
Forgot to take before photos soo I’ve uploaded half eaten foods food was tasty, had a Christmas Party with the managers there. Sadly no rice although a lot of dishes in the banquet, not sure what was ordered, all preordered. Staff don’t interrupt or really speak, just do their job. Although they don’t seem to realise when someone has a shellfish allergy many of the staff they need to be told, even just oyster sauce on veggies. Lucky for those staff, either they already knew or other staff tried it and let them know. Was honestly surprised they had tequila, I’m too young to drink so can’t comment on it but everyone seemed to enjoy it.
PLEASE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!!. Seat covers are dirty with food stains. Seats are ripped off!! Food scraps are everywhere on carpet, no vacuum at all before the next table. Teapot is rusty outside, believe the same inside. More importantly is, food was terrible. Don’t trust the portion on the menu. They are way smaller than the images. Can easily find better Chinese food within a walking distance. NOT recommended for any events especially weddings or anniversary. The worst asian cuisine I've had. You will definitely regret.
Simple yumcha but flavorful and delicious. We especially love the egg tart as it was fluffy and the taste of egg was ever present. The fried cuttlefish was delicious as it was well cooked. We'll come back here again for yumcha.Food: 4/5
Always have a good experience here. Arrived on a Tuesday for brunch. Seated immediately unlike weekends when it’s packed Food did not disappoint
Authentic and delicious cart and self serve yum cha set out in a true asian fashion, amazing service - little wonder to why it’s always busy with lines out the order. Book in advance otherwise be prepared to get a ticket and wait.
Worst yum cha in brissy. You can have FLY & COCKROACH for FREE!! Prices are unreasonably HIGH. Egg tart $10@ Golden Lane next door only $4.9 & Parkland across road $5; calamari $13@ other 2 restaurants are $7 & $8 - bigger portion. All of Landmarks dim sims are almost double $ of nearby restaurants. Dim sims are NOT authentic especially dumplings and buns, not hand made like Shanghai pork dumplings, definitely not hand wrapped; Sticky rice wrap used paper not lotus leaf! , looks like bulk buy from wholesale, worst than those from woolies! Price increased 15+% AND the size has shrunk the fried noodle we had was as flat as a pizza, no volume, only a few pieces of meat which means price has increased >35%! Prices have increased and quality of food has also gone down hill! Roasted duck was cold and not crispy! Extremely disappointed! Parkland and Golden Lane next door are 15% off for ALL dim sims. Their dim sims are hot, fresh and taste much better. If you think this is a restaurant with nice food, bet u have never tried any authentic Chinese food before. Hygiene of this restaurant is always a concern. There was an insect in our food as in the photo. The table near us said we were lucky to have a small one as they had a cockroach in their food! Sick staff have to work! Serve you dim sum after blowing nose! We tried to catch waiters’ attention for 15min. Only two waiters running around the restaurant! One waiter was standing day dreaming. Paid so much and yet no service - needed to queue at the front to get dim sims and not many variety. Not all dim sims from menu were available, be disappointed on that! Toilets were very dirty with poop splashes left around rim, toilet papers everywhere and wet slippery ground!!! I don’t recommend you to go or have events or celebration party there! What a shame to invite friends to this place. Not a pleasant experience!
If you are choosing yum cha for breakfast. This is definitely the best place to go. The food was tasty and enthusiastic service.
Undoubtedly my worst restaurant experience in memory. The Food was unappetizing and tasteless. Probably made in some factory with waste products. Definitely not made with care using acceptable ingredients. The egg tart was inedible..... fatty, greasy and has left a horrible taste in my mouth after one bite. The service was almost non existent and the toilets were grubby and needed attention. I will never go back, and would advise you not to go.
