My partner and I were on our way home to Melbourne from Swan Hill. We just randomly found this place for dinner because we saw the rating in google and also saw the photo that they serve steak. I found the green peppercorn sauce for the steak was absolutely fantastic. The peppercorn flavour is strong enough that you know it’s pepper sauce. I know a lot of places stuff it up. The salads in the dishes are very nice and fresh, unlike the soggy soft and disgusting one in the supermarket. Gluten free option for fisherman basket is also good. You know it’s hard to find gluten free fish and chips or seafood baskets etc., not to mention to find a good one.
Food was amazing. I had the garlic prawns and it was not short on prawns and my husband had the pork belly with seared scallops.nI would recommend this hotel to any one.nWell done Lakeview
This pub had great food and service. We all enjoyed our meals. Ricotta gnocchi with sage and bacon was excellent!
Staff were friendly, food was so delicious. All 5 of us really enjoyed our meals. Excellent menu to choose from. Music wasn't loud, we could have a conversation without shouting at each other. Will definitely be back

The staff were super nice, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing night out.nnThe drinks were awesome, with a great selection to choose from. I ordered the 300g Scotch filet, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor – definitely a must-try for any steak lover!nnMy friend had the Prawn & Chorizo Fettuccine, and they loved it. The dish was well-prepared, with a great balance of flavors. It was both nice and incredibly yummy.nnHighly recommend this place if you're in Bendigo!
