Tasty pizza dinner at Clogs, lovely outdoor seating area, good service even on a busy public holiday. Great pizza bases, loved the marinated lamb pizza, so good! The veggies on the beetroot and pumpkin pizza were undercooked. Absolutely amazing chocolate mousse!!
Great food. Service could have been better but I'll give them the benefit of doubt because this was one of the only places that was open at the time and covid meant that some of their staff were not working thya evening. All in all, definitely recommended.
JULY 2022 Well 3 months later I am disappointed. I checked the internet, under their menu which was also posted on their window, that they had confit pork belly and 12 hour roasted lamb shoulder. Booked with them only to be given a menu titled "Clogs-Menu-21st-Century" . Well there was no pork belly or lamb shoulder thereon. Ok I get it a change of menu but someone forgot to remove the menu posted on the window. Ok blame covid, blame staff shortages, whatever. This time not really impressed. Waited 1 hr for a small pizza to share. Not overly busy........3 months earlier I must admit. Well worth the visit. July 2022 2 starts, 3 months prior 5 stars. Life your game. Something is wrong. Food was not really tasty, Change of chef ????? Constructive feedback.... Please review. We had a tad over priced. House Made Ravioli 33 tiger prawn, moreton bay bug, dill and parsley stuffed jumbo raviolo, served with tiger prawns and a brown butter, lemon and caper sauce. also a Potato Gnocchi 29 slow cooked lamb ragu, peas, pancetta, ricotta, mushroom, tomato, parsley, black olive GF lacked flavour... My next visit to Bendigo will sadly be at another venue. Last review APRIL 2022 : Upon entry around 6:30pm on a Thursday night it was full of energy. The restaurant was pretty much at capacity with staff on the go. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was delightful. It was well presented, hot and tasty. Serving size was excellent. Yes I recommend Clogs and I will be back on my next Bendigo visit. Thanks for a great evening Clogs.
When i once lived in Bendigo, Clogs was described as "Rolls Royce" of pizza in Bendigo, and today we gave them a go. This isn't the cheapest "everyday" place but these guys know how to do pizza. We had take away Mediterranean pizza, calamari, lemon meringue cheesecake and a bottle of wine. Pizza was absolutely amazing! Medium crust with plenty of high quality and we'll cooked toppings. Calamari was cooked perfectly and the cake was very nice. If you're looking for date night pizza, look no further.
Saw the menu in the restaurant window this afternoon & decided to order in at the motel. Were directed to order delivery via hungryhungry, the menu options were named differently so made it hard to choose what we thought we wanted compared to the window/PDF menu. Order confirmed for delivery in 1hour 15minutes....... On a Tuesday! Oh well, it must be good... Delivered at 8.15pm, so absolutely starving and looking forward to delicious pizza. Nope, disappointing. Both pizzas were squished to one side of the box. BBQ chicken cheese pizza topping a sloppy mess on one side of the base. Tried to tip it back in the box, very unappealing... It will taste good though! Nope afraid not, too much sauce and cheese, slices not cut all the way through, a slippery, sliding, sickly sweet mess photo attached Ate one piece of the soggy base, then resorted to picking the chicken off. Super supreme was average. It’s now an hour later and I feel sick. Wish we’d gone and “dined in” maybe the experience would have been better ‍
Highly Recommend! My only regret is that I couldn't order more of their dishes from becoming so full. Can't wait to go back and try more!
Was in Bendigo for the night from Melbourne and my husband and I decided to try based on a good looking menu. Service was ok and staff were friendly, but the food was absolutely terrible. I am gluten free and ordered a gluten free pizza base, the dough was still raw when it came and the pizza was inedible. My husbands pizza was cooked at least but he said it was bland and not very nice. Value for money was poor as what we paid for two pizzas was more than what it should be particularly for the quality.
Felt the need to write a review. Came here on a public holiday. City was busy but only half the places open. Came across his place and sat outside and ordered what read as a plain pizza, but the flavour was unbelievable. Would like to come back but I’m not from around here.
This used to be my favourite place to go, they had a fantastic gluten free menu, and the food was always delicious. My risotto was average, mostly a big soggy mess. Such a disappointment they no longer have a gluten free menu. my partner was very disappointed in his pizza. We had to cut through as it came out, not cut all the way through, not helpful when you’re nursing a baby. But mostly it tasted awful, and is still seething about it a day later. For a pretty pricey meal out, it was pretty average.
extremely little respect towards customers. They have a pretty wonderful bathroom for photos, however other than that, I'm not impressed with the customer service at all and would not recommend this place. Also found pieces of plastic in my bottle if they were to clean them properly i’d think that wouldn’t of been an issue.
