American themed bar with a view of the town. Seems to cater to an older crowd. Greasy spoon style food but full restaurant prices and expensive entrees. Service seemed ill equipped for new years. Bill took an hour to settle due to over $100 worth of errors.

Do not spend your money at this place!!!! After a long day myself and my family ventured into Shamrock as an old Bendigo stalwart, mistake, BIG mistake!! We 'ate' upstairs at the Yard Bird. Ordered chicken wings, two kids meals of tenders/fries and two main meals. Kids meals/wings took about 45 minutes to arrive. Kids meals were cold and tasteless but kids being kids they ate it. Wings smothered in chipotle sauce (apparently) were luke warm and average. After following up main meals twice they finally arrived after about another 45 mins. Southern Fried Chicken was a sliver of chicken coated in soggy, thick crust which if not for waiting 1.5 hours for food would not have been eaten, jumbayla was pretty much the same. After speaking with the waitress we were told that new chefs were upstairs for the last week and she has had nothing but waiting and customer complaints. A very very disappointing end to a great day
