Lake Placid Tourist Park, a member of Top Tourist Parks, is set amongst 14 acres of tropical rainforest. Offering caravan and tent sites as well as budget or luxury cabins we have the perfect holiday accommodation for any type of traveller. The park is adjacent to the cool, crystal clear waters of Lake Placid (at the base of the world heritage area of the Barron River Gorge National Park). Located near Cairns city, the park is central to the main tourist attractions such as Skyrail, the Kuranda Scenic Railway and northern beaches, and is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday (pets are welcome too).
