Brilliant lasagne, very tasty and fresh, welcoming friendly staff.
Very friendly, down to earth staff. Tiny little place with great traditional Italian and Turkish food.
Decided to give it a try because of the good overall reviews, I was there on 22-10-2016 with my girlfriend, we ordered a 24$ pizza, we arrived at 5:50pm. +1 star because the pizza is better than Queensland's average pizza. -1 star because it is overpriced compared to restaurants serving pizza nearby. -1 star because the large size portion is not very large, it looks like medium. -1 star because the guy who makes/cooks the pizza uses the cashier as well, it is not hygienic. -1 star because at around 7pm, considering the restaurant closes at 9:30pm and it was half-empty, one of the waitresses came and said "you must leave, we need the table". At that moment I didn't react because I didn't realize the situation and just left, but afterwards, I started thinking about it and got shocked and couldn't believe it actually happened. This is the first time I've experienced such thing in my life. Will never be going again.
Great variety of cuisine that is delicious. Lovely staff, friendly and on the ball. Very generous servings. Nice atmosphere inside with lots to look at. Looking forward to going back on our next visit to Surfers Paradise.
WARNING TO EVERYONE ! This is the worst place you can ever go because the pizza tastes delicious but the customer service is the worst I've ever met in my whole entire life. Because we were young adults, they can permit themselves to kick us out of the restaurant after 10 minutes we just finished eating which they weren't allowed to. We are not kids. Plus the waitress came close to my face about 10 cm and asked me if I would like anything else which scared me because it was very weird from her to act like this. The cook is the same person that does the cashier which is not hygienic at all !!!!
Awesome service, the kiwi waitress who served us was so lovely and friendly. Food was amazing and excellent value, especially for the Gold Coast. Huge serving size we took half our pasta home for lunch the next day and it was so yummy. Still fantasising about that pesto fettuccine. I'm tempted to fly back to Aus just to eat there again :D
I love La Rusica! staff are always obliging in this busy little restaurant....food quality never suffers, they welcome families and children and also manage to squeeze in a couple of more 'romantic' tables. You will be disappointed if you don't book. I'm a local and I have been turned away because they are just that busy! I love the pasta! I love the pizza, I just love it all. Don't forget to BYO
Food that tastes like home. Extremely friendly staff. Great variety of good food, I tried the veal medallions with prosciutto and cheese and loved it. We paid $80 for two with one glass of wine, not cheap but the food is worth it.
Terrific meal, generous portions, engaging and friendly staff. Food was slightly more salted than we prefer, but no more do than most restaurants. Will definitely return if we're back visiting the Gold Coast.
