The RSL is a great place for a good meal and very family-friendly. The staff overall were friendly. We did have one server who seemed annoyed by engaging with us. Overall we had a good experience the food was good.
Excellent down to earth meals. Busy atmosphere. Nice country town surrounds. Like many places, prices have risen. Members appear to get a discount. There are separate bistro, bar area, small seating lounge and of course the gaming machines area which appears to have free coffee and chilled water.
We had dinner at Kyneton RSL today. We availed 10% discount since we are staying at Kyneton Bushland Resort, you just have to present your key to avail the discount.nnAnyway, atmosphere was so lively, it was packed, means you have to make a reservation to secure a table.nnFood was so delicious and they were generous with the serving size. Staffs were so friendly and accommodating.nnI ordered the chicken parm and my husband ordered the fricassee both equally sumptuous.nnYou have to check out their specials of the day as well.
I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana and my dining companion chose the Chicken Parmigiana. The Eggplant Parmigiana was delicious and I will definitely be ordering it again when visiting Kyneton. The service was friendly and the food was prompt to arrive. There is also a great selection of drinks available.
Nice place with cosy atmosphere. The brisket special was nice and good size but could be a bit softer.
