Great butcher with a huge variety of meats and sauces, they also sell bbqs and smokers. Great way to pick up some meat for a huge event/party, there’s a sizeable parking available and all the meats are packaged and sitting inside a huge walk in fridge. The prices are slightly better than Cole’s but the quality of the meats are amazing. Will be picking up my brisket for to smoke up over the Costco ones.

I love coming to country town butchers, and this place is no different, this has a great   range of meats  ,also sauces for BBQ, marinate sauces aswell spices recommend stopping in if you are passing

I have driven for an hour to get to Hardwicks from Melton, twice now.nAs long as this place exists, it’s the only butcher I will buy meat from!nnLast time we came we spent $230 and it lasted us a month.nThis time we spent $430 and expect it to last 2 months frozen, or maybe more! $53/w for almost every meal of the month is pretty amazing value, and we didn’t cheap out.nThis time we bought 19kg of meat so we got a 10% discount for buying over 18kg.nnThis wholesale style butcher is great and has a wide selection of meat, they have anything you need and lots of it. The steak in particular is insanely cheap compared with a normal butcher or supermarket.nI will never buy meat from a supermarket again!nnThere has been nothing that we have bought that we didn’t like or wasn’t of the highest quality. When defrosted overnight in the fridge 1-2 days before, even the steak eats as if it’s fresh, let along the chicken or casserole meat.nnLastly, all of the staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful!nnTake a big esky and don’t forget your jumper.nLove this place so much 10/10

Great place for fresh meats and some gourmet condiments. Reasonable price as well. Love coming here to support small local business. They have kept the store really clean and hygienic. Highly recommended.

Wow just can’t explain how bad my customer service experience was. There was a woman on staff who I tried to interact with. I said hello twicenAfter the third time  she responded hello very grumpily. I was wanting to ask “what is the best beef that you sell for a casserole, slow cook recipe or a stew. Instead of assisting me she said grumpily “Just read the labels” “If you want something for a casserole just get the thing that says casserole” not helpful at all. I felt even just my presence there was an inconvenience to her
