Story

THE KUMAR FAMILY

I came to New Zealand from Southern India in 1998, liked what I saw and brought my family in search of a better life.

We hoped and expected that our children would be the main beneficiaries of our work.The business has done much better than we anticipated and that is mainly because of the support we have had from the people of Paeroa.

I am now a New Zealand citizen and our younger daughter was born here making her a “Kiwi Kid”.

We really do appreciate your custom and we proud to be part of Paeroa. Thank You, we will continue to do our best to earn your continuing support.

This is the second time we received burnt and chewy naan…we went again to purchase advise the guy at the counter said will give us a free naan with purchase of food which he did thank you for that…today again we went to buy butter chicken for my little ones as they like butter chicken and again we had to deal with the same thing my kids couldn’t chew naan at all, the man behind the counter instead of being apologetic said naan has to be a little burnt  well yeah but not with a big hole its not the first time we are eating a naan we know how they are made and provided at other restaurants later he started talking to his wife saying if they want to buy buy if not they can go somewhere else being the only Indian restaurant in Paeroa please stop taking advantage…. We are paying you..you aren’t providing us for free so show a little respect to your customers.

Best Indian food I've had in New Zealand. Family operated, beautiful food, excellent service. Love coming here

Hands down the best Indian food I've ever had! The spices were perfectly balanced, the portions were generous, and the service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, making it a perfect spot for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. I'll be back for sure! Highly recommend!

Absolutely divine! The flavors, the service, the ambiance - everything was top-notch! The chef's creativity shines through in every dish, and the staff's hospitality is genuinely warm. A must-visit for any food lover! 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give it 10 if I could!

Authentic kerala cuisine. Very neat place.
