Our first visit to Koala Tavern was to experience the Kids Day Out they held on a recent Sunday. We enjoyed a lovely meal before the activities. Good variety of meals, and lots of gluten free options which was a welcome surprise. All the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely and more than happy to help. The wildlife show, face painting and balloon animals were a huge hit with the kids as well as many of us adults . The singer outside in the beer garden was great as well. Very impressed with our visit, so much so that we will return despite the tavern not being our local.
Absolutely wonderful experience here for lunch. I had booked lunch for my dad’s 65th birthday for around 25 guests. Unfortunately only around 15 made it but was nice to have the room. When I arrived I noticed a long row of tables set up so I assumed they were for us. I went to the bathroom and came back and they had put 3 lots of balloons on the tables. I went over and asked if these tables were for my booking and she said yes. I thanked her for doing the balloons. I then said I had a cake and she asked if I wanted her to put it in the fridge and when we were ready they could bring plates and a knife out.. I said yes please. The service throughout the lunch was just outstanding by our waitress Angie who I can not praise enough for being so friendly and thoughtful for my dad’s birthday even offering him a free drink. I really hope Angie can get recognition for her fabulous service. She really made our experience great from start to finish and we will definitely book again.
