I super love this place!!!! They serve the best and most authentic Knafeh Nabulseyeh in Melbourne. Since they make everything fresh, you will have to share their smallest size 500g. It takes a while, but worth it. Don't forget to order Arabic coffee along with it, preferably without sugar. It just goes so well together!
Knafeh pronounced Kuh-na-fey Nabulseyeh is a must visit in Hughesdale. Delicious food. Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and falafel wraps are all delicious. Not overfilled - the perfect balance of protein and salad. Desserts are amazing. If you want the Knafeh it is BIG and designed to be shared. Comes in fine and coarse. Call ahead and order if you are doing takeaway. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
So glad I gave this place a go. I tried the Knafeh and it is absolutely delicious. We don’t have this dish in Brazil but somehow it connected me to those dishes you gramma does with so much love. Want to try the other things to see if they as delicious.
Best Knafeh yet tasted in Melbourne! Highly recommend, they even gave me coffee out of their hospitality and generosity.. thank you for this lovely experience.. can’t wait to come back again.
Don’t know about other items but the shawarma was basic and overhyped. Not much could be said about the service either. Dude was curt and tried to overcharge me in a sneaky way. Disappointing cuz I was really craving a wrap and choose this place based on other reviews.
Knafeh Nabulseyeh is not as sweet as other knafeh - which I think is better. Lovely crunchy texture and mouthfeel. Don’t miss the raqwe coffee with knafeh. Best dessert in Melbourne!
Super delicious kunafeh, freshly made! Loved em’ Recommended dishesKnafeh Coarse, Knafeh Nabulsieh Fine
What a great addition to Sydney Road, Coburg! Had the coarse knafeh and loved it. There’s also a bunch of other sweets that I can’t wait to try. Super friendly staff too! Will be there frequently.
Absolutely terrible service. Fake smiles, short tempers and the extremely expensive sweets aren’t the best. Sitting on the dirty chairs at the wonky tables and being told to hurry up and pay is insulting. Not the best customer service considering it’s just opened up and in need of patronage. Avoid! We certainly won’t be going back.
I got recommended to try this place as I was looking for the best kunefe in Melbourne or at least close to what I had in Turkey. This place did not dissapoint. The kunefe was fresh, crunchy on the outside, warm with melting cheese
