This place used to be a staple in the USA, but it's all but gone from there - apparently it moved to Australia.nnThey have a decent variety of stuff that's mid-priced to very cheap. We just arrived in Townsville without any luggage and were able to grab a super cheap set of clothing here for next to nothing.
We frequently shop here and that staff are always very helpful and courteous the shop is always well stocked. Obviously always has to face the odd juniors that aren't fully trained but everyone always has to learn people are always very helpful.
Went in and needed some photos of my niece printed for her birthday. Didn’t know how to use those confusing photo machines but Jaz offered to helped and boy oh boy she was very helpful. Excellent service from her Kmart, managers should be proud!!
“Yes we will hold the item” “no we can’t” “yes we will” okay, so which one is it Kmart?nAsked for an item to be put on hold as was being given the run around on whether it was in stock or not. The young staff are so clueless it isn’t funny.nnI also spoke to a manager named Angie who assured me the items would be unpacked directly to her office, and I would hear back end of the week. Nothing. Called back myself to find out she wasn’t in and the other manager accused me of lying. Tried to call back the following week after being told Angie would be back Monday and nothing. Item now says sold out online.nnKmart has once again really dropped the ball. I get it’s Christmas time, but the staff have no idea! So many different responses, unable to get a straight answer. Manager’s incompetent, can’t follow up on promises.nnMaybe it’s time for an overhaul and complete retraining and hiring of new staff Kmart Aitkenvale!!
The lady with grey hair working in the printing photos desk section this morning was not very helpful. I was clearly struggling . Going to Garrick's Camera house to do all my prints from now as they have great customer service and actually help you and show you what to do.
