Is there a reason there is usually an excessive amount of staff in each aisle stocking shelves, and just standing there talking. Went in tonight, 4 people in the oil and spices. 1 half full trolley. 2 people sticking and all just standing there talking and not moving for customers when asked. Usual occurrence at store, especially at night. Complete and utter incompetence. I’ve worked for cokes, it doesn’t take 4 people. It barely takes 1.nThen to top it off, as leaving the trolley collector and another staff member walked and stood beind the car for a chat. Could see the car was in reverse.nnWorst coles in Townsville by a mile!
This is a well set out supermarket. It has a good bread section with lots of options. They also have a self serve lolly area where you dish up your own stuff, weigh it then pay at the front. Good selection of fruit and vegetables as well. My latest trip there was not so good. Had paid in the self service section where they have a small electronic gate. I went through and my mum turned around to get her sunglasses that she had left at the till. The electronic glass panel would then not open to let her through. The lady on duty would not open it, saying you have to buy something to go through. My 90 year old mother had the receipt in her hand but she was told she had to walk back out the self serve area and around through a regular check out. Was not happy. Making older people jump through hoops for nothing. Very disappointing.
Coles Aitkenvale Online are the most useless Coles store in Australia. They can never supply a full order. Substitutes are ridiculous , example supply prawn dumplings s instead of Beef dims sims. They can't substitute Norco full cream milk for another full cream milk.nThe list goes on and on.nThat doesn't include not supplying about 20 % of your order you place.nWell Coles I will never place another online order whilst Your Aitkenvale store does the picking and supply.nPS The only Good thing is Your Wonderful Delivery Staff.
Once again not enough staff on check out, only one isle open. And Cheryl on the check out was too busy talking to notice the back up of people that's were waiting to have their shopping go through.nnI always feel like there are not enough people at the check out.
