Great prices on lots of goods, some of them reasonably high quality. Their website is hopeless, hence a 3-star review of what I think is the best budget retailer in Dunedin. I have ordered from the kmart.co.nz website numerous times, and the order has been canceled because 'the items you ordered were unavailable' - this despite the item showing up online as available. I have had similar frustration trying to use their website to determine what was in stock before visiting the store, only to discover that the website does not have accurate stock information even though it claims to provide this. Basically, what you see in the store is what you get, don't bother with the website. And be prepared to wait in line sometimes, it's a popular and busy place for good reason.

Good variety of stock. I came in at 10am and there were clothes and shoes all over the ground! I think they should have more staffed checkouts. Very cheap

Latest expirence was appalling. I waited for assistance and the help counter and watch two staff take there sweet ass time to do there work while I watch the self checkouts full with massive queue and no one opened the staffed tills. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for assistance and then when I was able to ask if they still had the product I had looked for and couldn't find was told it would be in the toy section somewhere. No offer to check on computer for stock or heaven forbid actually walk over and assist me properly. I guess the service is as good as the quality of half the products.

Great shop, lots of cheap items.. Some are great while others are a "you get what you pay for" deal. Large variety of products and open late.

Often cheaper that buying online, and you get to see what you are buying. Quite a good toy department. A tent bought cheapy from there recently survived heavy rain while keeping dry inside.
