To be frank I usually hate going to Harvey Norman -- I usually find the staff somewhat annoying. But today I visited to look at travel cameras and was promptly assisted by a very knowledgeable staff member who got the cameras out of the cabinet to let me get a feel for them. He was also able to answer all my questions on the spot.

Another big box store but it is good and has great staff and some good services. Had issues trying to download photos with my phone that were quickly resolved by the staff.

Harvey Norman do have a good range of products and in the past we have bought a lot of things there. Unfortunately things have changed and the sales staff seem to be seriously lacking in product knowledge training- even on a new MacBook pro which you would expect they would be all over. Prices of consumables seem to be a lot higher than Noel Leeming. Would still go there if needing something but lost faith in their people.

Great range. Competent staff. My only degrading factor is that I took in a brand new computer that had a manufacturers fault (not the fault of the store) to get repaired and it took a very long time and did not receive any updates about when I would get it back during the process. This was concerning being a student who needed the laptop for assignments. Wish there was some sort of compensation I could have been offered since it was a fault in a brand new product.
