Apparently they don’t do food anymore expect for their 5+ days old muffins which are refrigerated. Some okay Kiwi offerings for sale - would just buy online and not waste my time. This page should be updated and food photos removed to avoid disappointment. Update to reply: You should contact google about the photos as it does not represent your business now. And your muffin definitely was NOT made that day.. or the day before.. No chance at all!! Refrigeration does not make muffins as hard and dry as mine was.
I have for the past 8 years or so gone to this store for kiwi products and it's slowly gotten more and more expensive and there's less and less products. I went last weekend and it's now not worth going there. I left there and went to the Kiwi shop in Logan and the difference was huge. One product alone was $8 cheaper at Logan for the exact same thing. In my opinion the owner of this place is just getting too greedy at the expense of hard working kiwis.
I’ve been dropping in for quite some time regularly. Every time until today I’ve always received wonderful warm and friendly service. Good coffee and good food. Today 24/09/18 1:00pm was by far the most unpleasant experience I have had there. The girl who served us was so rude, huffing and puffing and eye rolling! Seems, because it meant she had to work. There were no other patrons in the store or on the deck. Yet only one coffee came out, she didn’t even know which one it was. Half an hour waiting I had to go inside to see where the other coffee was and my toasted sandwiches, there sitting on the bench! Cold. Again, as I politely questioned where the rest of my order was I got barked at and eye rolled again, told me “you got the coffee” which I clearly did not and “sandwiches were coming!!” That is disgraceful. Rude. Bad attitude. When I return again as I do every few weeks to make purchases at the produce, I will go to the cafe with my Mother for the usual coffee and if that girl is in there again I will walk out. I will not reward bad attitude by giving that business my business.
Good enough food for where it's located. Staff are pretty friendly and the store inside is stocked with a decent selection. Coffees and Muffins were both tasty but what I can't figure out is why in this day and age any cafe on the planet uses canned whipped cream instead of the real stuff. It ruins the whole freaking vibe once that disgusting stuff comes. Pure laziness for the sake of saving a few bucks. Plus sort out your wobbly tables... Still recommended, just not a 'must go'
Was there for the first time today. Service is very average. But was very happy to receive fresh whipped cream and fresh berries with my muffin. Coffee was ok too. Just a mistake on my friend’s order. Will be back still as it’s a good area for kids to see the farm animals
Amazing place in an awesome farmhouse setting. Delicious smoothies and amazing burgers are what make this place THE BEST! You can also go get all your animal needs from the Produce which is right next door to this cool little cafe & kiwi grocery store. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my NZ fix!
Love visiting the Kiwi fine foods shop everytime i visit the produce store..which is sometimes twice a week...I am always welcomed by the lovely staff especially Kath and Britt and love to have a chat while waiting for my coffee ..You ladies do a great job even when you are busy trying to get everyones orders out on time.. . The coffee is the best and a great price, the homemade scones are the best scones i have tasted not like other coffee shops which are mostly brought in.. High 5 to you all for a job well done.x
The kiwi shop is so expensive you can get kiwi food at the IGA a lot cheaper. The manager and other staff member who work there are some of the rudest people I have experienced for quite some time. If I ever go back again I will say something to this very rude person. I met another lady while lady while I was there and she said the staff are always rude when she has been there. Not acceptable pick your act up.
