Welcome to Kitty O'Shea's Irish Bar & Restaurant, Surfers Paradise!

As an established Restaurant & Bar which has been in operation for the last 10 years Kitty's welcomes all age groups to come on down and enjoy some relaxed hospitality.

Our staff will greet you from the moment you walk in the door... We have many different Irish and local beers to choose from, along with some traditional Irish fare and the favourite meals you expect from a tavern style venue such as ours.

Lovely atmosphere but beyond awful experience.  The aesthetic of the venue is quite homely and endearing but that is where the positives for this establishment end. The staff were bored and disinterested, the meals that we ordered were cold and of incredibly low quality – the mash potatoes for example was obviously powdered and the consistency of glue, the steak we ordered was reheated and had faux grill marks, the veggies were obviously from a frozen mix etc... Absolutely would not return or recommend anyone else to visit. Beyond awful experience

Well, if you're looking for somewhere good to dine, this is not the place. Some staff were friendly whilst others walked around looking lost. Atmosphere is dreadful and not at all inviting. Out of 3 main meals, 2 came out but the other got lost for 40 minutes before it arrived after we chased it up. Cocktails I had were missing key garnishes and ingredients. Go elsewhere... attached photo is meant to be the Pimms London Spritz...

Quick service at lunch time for a basic chips and steak. Fairly average meal. Not great, but not terrible. Probably won’t try again given the number of options in the area. Partner’s mocha was nice though.

Guinness,  Guinness,  Guinness. Nice venue with clean tap lines on the main strip so often live buskers. Food tasty as well, but Gbang my thang!Food: 5/5

Disappointing experience tonight, dining area outside was filthy with the floor covered in rubbish, cocktails had been made with dirty shakers and had bits floating in them, lipstick marks on our wine glass and the bartender took no responsibility or was apologetic  Meals were very very average and bland, though my friend did enjoy the lamb shank.  I’ll give them 2 stars as the meals were at least edible however would not eat there again. Definitely a pub for beer and that’s it

Rump steak was cooked medium how it was asked, very nice. Service was fast. Staff were friendly. Nice tap beer selection. Reasonable prices. Will eat here again next time in the area. Left content. Thank you.

Had a mixed grill and my wife had the lamb shanks. Outstanding. Highly recommended. Add a pint or 2 of Magners or Guinness and makes for an exceptional meal. Front of house is a proper professional and clearly good at what he does. 5 starsFood: 5/5

Service was good, The Irish Carbombs were awesome, Beer was cold, calamari and chicken wings were delcious. Good vibes too!

Lovely bar staff with a nice vibe. Unfortunately the food was a bit hit and miss. The schnitzel meal was generous and hot. However, our burger was waiting in the serving area for 10 minutes so came lukewarm with cold chips.

Beers at 9am, HELL YES!! When I ordered food I was overcharged $20. Good thing I check the bill. They immediately refunded the error. I had a lovely morning here watching life go by. The place filled quickly, the food maybe not so. My search for the best Eggs Benedict in SEQ continues. Sourdough bread  Runny yolk  Plenty of smoked salmon  Enough hollandaise  Eating plain sourdough after what stated so well was a bit bland but I was sufficiently sated and will return to try more of the menu.
