Look it’s a good station, all modern, trains come at good intervals Car park is a little far away But my major anger is at the anti-homeless spikes they have put in place on the concrete blocks There are only four seats here and you cannot social distance on them When the station was first built the concrete blocks were free to sit on, now they are impossible to sit on because these are massive steel spikes It’s just such a hostile display of anti-homeless architecture, especially considering neither the concrete blocks or the seats are actually undercover. The concrete blocks are already out in the open, it’s ridiculous to spend money on such things when the homeless are already deterred from such an area It’s disappointing that the council would do this and angers me to a great extent.

great rail line, but heartless designers decided to make the exterior harsh and unfriendly. Just move along there, people!
Good station except for the car park. It was obviously designed by someone who never uses park and ride. Although there is ample parking spaces the walk from the car park to the station entrance is long and with little cover. You had better not be running late for your train. No consideration was given to elderly or walking impaired travellers. It would have been so easy for the designers to put a short tunnel and ramp in from the car park to the top end of the platform. You really have to wonder about the social issues training that these so called designers get, when they can’t get something this simple right.

A nice & colourful station,easy for my friend to pick me up near the spacious bus stop. As I was given the wrong instructions from another station & ended up on the express train when it was quicker - Easier to go via another station,at least it was peaceful quiet & alighting the train wasn't an issue as it was clearly signed too.
Kippa-Ring railway station is found on the outskirts of the suburb and you need either a car or a bus to get to it in the first place. The buses aren’t as frequent as one would like them to be so most people opt out to drive to and from the station in a car. Again, the parking lot for cars is quite a substantial distance from the station itself, so it helps if you’re fit and healthy to start off with. The staff is pleasant and helpful both on the station itself – if you’re looking lost they will stop and ask if they can help you – and at the ticket window if your card expired for example. A railway line to Redcliffe Peninsula was first thought of 131 years ago. But now when at last there is railway connecting Redcliffe to Brisbane, it’s not the direct route from Sandgate – which most Redcliffe people would have expected – but a roundabout journey through suburbs which most Redcliffe people would have no reason to go to. And the time to get to Brisbane is almost one hour. It is neither conveniently situated, nor has sufficient connecting services to make you feel safe and secure.
I’d love to know whose genius idea it was to make the carpark a 5 min walk from the station entry and that’s speed walking!. Other than that display of utter carelessness, can’t complain
