Located in the heart of the CBD, Kinokuniya has the largest range of books in Sydney with over 300,000 titles in English, Japanese, Chinese, French and German.

Kinokuniya offers the experience of a true haven in the city. Our spacious and tranquil environment and friendly informative staff make Kinokuniya a unique bookstore.

Our in-store art space The Wedge Gallery exhibits work from both local and international artists.

Our cafe space is currently home to popular Sydney patisserie, Black Star Pastry: http://blackstarpastry.com.au/

Great place if you’re looking for anime. The place was so busy!
My favorite bookshop in Sydney. Love the space. Their collection of books is AWESOME. I'd usually allocate a couple of hours when heading to Kinokuniya cos it's a place where you want to take your time and totally immerse yourself - a wondrous world of books!
Favourite bookshop in Sydney. You can spend a considerable amount of time browsing the obscure and familiar titles here. Combine with a trip to Muji downstairs for a taste of Tokyo in Sydney! Really outstanding arts and architecture books section too.
One of Sydney's most comprehensive bookstores. Located conveniently above Town Hall station, Kino stocks a wide range of art books, coffee table books, novels, stationery supplies and Asian language books and visual novels. The perfect place to relax and find a new read or stock up on craft supplies.
Favourite bookstore in Sydney! Such a huge range here.. I could spend the whole day here. The prices may be a little more expensive than what you can find online however there's nothing more better than being able to hold and browse through the book itself. Service is always friendly and helpful.
Amazing selection. Tonnes of manga titles as you'd expect from a Japanese bookshop, but the art & design section is wonderful too. There is a great range of Asian authors included in the fiction section too

One of the better book stores you can find in Sydney. It has a wide range of options going from kids book to philosophy. Its clean and cozy and overall a very good atmosphere
