Excellent range of sci-fi and fantasy, great staff
twice in the last few weeks i was told to leave my bag at the counter when i shop here.its obvious other customers walk around with their bags. and theres no sign on their counter saying to leave their bag on the counter.
Always have a fantastic range, especially in this modern digital book age, so I'm more than willing to travel from the mountains into Sydney even just for a looksee on my days off!
Love this place. I always go when I visit from WA, you can find books you can't in any other main stream bookstore and the service is fantastic.

Galaxy is a wonderful place. A really nice atmosphere, great range and competitive pricing. Staff are always lovely and enthusiastic, often geeking out with you over what you're reading or upcoming releases. Also they're proactive about getting in up and coming books, plus the latest on events like signings.
Definitely the best variety of any bookstore in Sydney and potentially the whole of Australia
