Kings Meadows Self Storage has 67 units of varying sizes in an architecturally designed complex at 2 Merino St., Kings Meadows.

Story

Our Colorbond steel units are safe and secure, and protected by security patrol, secure gates and fencing, hi-tech sensor lighting and a CCTV camera network.
Our pricing structure is simple, a one off fee refundable if unit is left clean and undamaged. Then a monthly rental fee paid in advance.
You will be allocated a gate key allowing 24 hr access through any one of 3 gates. Bring your own padlock or buy one from our range to secure your unit.
For Sales and Merchandising representatives, we accept non-pallet deliveries. Pallet deliveries by negotiation.
Private renters are well protected by an Industry Rental Agreement.
The office is open from 9:00 – 3:30 Monday to Friday.
We stock a range of packaging materials from cartons to tape dispensers and bubble wrap.

A difficult move and we got short notice of the completion date. Needed to go into store. Storage king couldn’t have been more helpful. They showed us our unit, we bought boxes, tape, packings then they recommended some ace removers. Nice people to deal with. All went smoothly. Highly recommended.
The store were extremely helpful when I popped in to buy some boxes for transporting some bouquets. They were so helpful and made sure that the boxes were the right size for me. Prices were fab and the office was clean and tidy. I will be back in future to purchase more. Thank you!
Price was quite high, but it was exactly as expected. I would definitely use again, but only needed short-term this time whilst moving house. No issues, ending the contract/handing back, and Hayley at the Derby store was great at talking me through it all - good communications
Everything you could ask for in a storage facility! Extremely helpful staff along with 24 hour access to your alarmed unit. Clean, secure, vending machines, toilets and packing boxes available during office hours.

EXCELLENT!!! Nothing short of outstanding service. I called late on a Tuesday approx 15 minutes before closing. My needs were asked and a message taken. The best person to assist me, was dealing with another customer I was promised a call back 1st thing. Mark called me at 9am, 3 different sizes were offered and a ground floor unit as I have mobility issues. Prices, plans and practicalities were all explained and fees that would be due. A £20 deposit was taken to secure it for me until I could confirm it. Mark was professional, kind and informative. Making me feel valued and at ease. Beth took my payment and completed my paperwork. Ensuring I was happy with the size of unit and price. I was offered packing supplies should I need them, the reception has them readily available, including padlocks. Padlock purchased, comes with 2 keys, good price. Beth showed me around and how to access the building out of hours and where trolleys are kept. Such a lovely lady and makes you feel really looked after. Knowledgable and clearly enjoys her work. The building itself is extremely clean with easy access. There are public toilets available and a vending machine. Carpark kept free of litter and easy to manouvre. 5 star service.
It is my first big house move and I needed a place to store my stuff. I wasn’t sure what size would be most suitable for all my stuff to fit in. Hayley was so pleasant and helpful. She showed me two sizes and explained whole process. Storage is clean. Accessible 24/7. Great customer service. Definitely worth recommending
Really impressed with this place. The staff are excellent. They go through all the safety & security details and then your off to store your stuff. Plenty of parking out front. Free use of trolleys & pallet trucks. The lifts are right at the front, a few meters from the parking bays. Really good access to the units aswel. Security is good, all the units alarmed and option of double locking. Cannot fault Storage King Derby Will recommend
We used Storage King Derby for confidential shredding. The service was fantastic and the staff were very polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly use them again for this service.
Can't speak highly enough of the service. Friendly on the first contact, good suggestions on unit size and options from Hayley. Easy to arrange the contract and move in. Lots of supplies in store to pack my stuff and easy access. Later I had to ask for more room due to delayed house move - no problem - new unit found that day! Even though I had to ask three times where it was cos I forgot the number twice! Both units clean and secure, staff always helpful EVEN when i got stuck in the unit on a Saturday night and had to call the helpline! Definitely will use them again for storage solutions.
