I've decided to go check out King's Chinese BBQ and Noodle House in Wanneroo after seeing a few reviews. We ordered the salt and pepper chicken and beef choy sum vegetables. When we arrived at 7:30 on Sunday evening there wasn't anyone in the restaurant. After a while, there were more customers. The Beef choy sum vegetables were on the salty side. The salt and pepper chicken was good their portion was on the big side. I am not too sure if I will return again. As there are more options elsewhere which are tastier.
Wonderfully friendly staff quick service and fantastic food will be ordering regularly from these guys from now on
Great food and nice prints on the walls. Sad to say it's closed for good
Quick service good price but food was awful. Special fried rice didn't taste of anything. A sparse sprinkle of peas shredded carrot and smudge of red meat. Tasted floury. Mongolian beef all the veg was uncooked and about 1/3 of it was raw onion. It tasted of onion and garlic. No other flavours. I didn't finish it. Fed it to the animals. Would not return.
My wife and I recently had lunch on two occasions, at Kings Chinese BBQ & Noodle House for the first time; since new ownership. We were not disappointed, the food and service was excellent, Crispy Fried Wantons and the Singapore Noodles has to be the best ever and the BBQ Char Siew , is to die for. Mee Goreng is just something else, curry dishes, fried rice, so,so, good, all cooked fresh as you order. We would like to thank Alan the chef/ owner, for outstanding food and James front of house/ waiter for their friendliness and excellent service; a very good dining experience. Ed & Lesley My wife and I dined at Kings Chinese BBQ & Noodle House again recently, on the few occasions we can get out and we’re not disappointed with the food we had ordered. All cooked fresh for us by chef and owner Allen. James front of house is an excellent host, friendly, amiable and very knowledgeable in regard to the menu and what’s on offer; the pricing is very reasonable. We had many dishes, we always order more so we can take some home for later. Dishes as follows, try others for yourselves, however these dishes were exceptional: Spring rolls, fried Wontons, Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup, Singapore fried noodles, Spicy Beef, Garlic King Prawns, Nasi Goreng, Special fried rice and to finish half a kilo of BBQ Char Siew Pork. Yum, yum, yum.All these dishes are wonderful, something you must try is the Singapore fried noodles and Nasi Goreng for sure. There are no issues in taking your leftovers home with you, all in all an excellent dining experience, something to enjoy again and again. 5 Stars again and again. Ed
Absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou Allen for your warm welcome. You and all your staff made us feel like we were catching up with friends. Can't wait to come back for more of your scrumptious mouth watering dishes. It was a complete pleasure Rod and Janine xxx
We love Kings!! My dad has been going to the store in the kingsway food hall for years. Since finding out they have relocated to Wanneroo it’s a favourite we have weekly. The noodle soups are to die for. Beautiful broth and always fresh lovely cooked meats.
Came here specially for the charcoal bbq satay!! We ordered ten pork satay and ten chicken satay, I’d like to use all kinds of adjectives to compliment the satays! They’re the highlights of the dinner, to be honest, I reckon this is the only place where you can get real authentic char-Ed bbq satay! You must come and try it out in order to experience what I’ve tasted. The sauce for the satay was perfectly mixed with chunks of peanuts, the authentic Kajang satay sauce. The price is really reasonable and somewhat cheaper than other restaurants, so, What more could I ask for! We have also ordered a plate of Singaporean Noodles to share, there were plenty char siew and you could taste the ‘WOK hei’, a.k.a. The flavour and taste imparted by a hot wok of food during stir frying. In overall, pretty yummy Singaporean Noodles. P.S. The satays are available from Tuesday to Saturday
Got a roast duck and roast pork with plain rice. Cost as much as a roast house restaurant but much smaller serving size of meat and poor quality. Roast pork is fatty and is blanched before roasting can tell by the lack of flavour and non crispy skin. Duck is also the same blanched first, can be seen from the texture of the meat and flavour. Duck's skin looks like roast chicken, reflecting on the time its been in the warmer and also flavorless like the meat can be because the cook doesn't know what spices to use to marinate the meat.
Great food and service. The chef used to operate a stall at Kingsway food court. The rice with honey pork was superb. So was the bbq combo with rice. My boys love the wet ho fun with egg sauce.
