Delicious, tasty, flavourful, yummy, freshly cooked food. There's a decent menu to suit all tastes. We'll be coming back to try more. A hidden gem in Bairnsdale, easy to miss on the busy main road if you're driving through but there's ample parking on the side road.
Just popped in town looking for something to eat.nLucky I found this gem.nHad a roast pork banh mi and homemade dim sim.nThe Bahn mi size was very generous, I usually pay $13 in Shepparton for half the size and a stone cold pork roast.nPlenty meat and the pickle veggies serve was good and cucumber slice not too big. Perfect.nThe Dim Sim had great Vietnamese flavour.nThe team is also very friendly as it feels like being home. Loved the vibe.nDefinitely recommend and will be back.
I purchased a Vietnamese iced coffee from here, a little pricey at $6 but the flavour was fantastic nUpdate - stopped in on the way through Bairnsdale and ate in, we ate Chilli and Lemon grass Beef, Special Fried Rice and Vietnamese Chicken and vegetable with rice noodle. Of course I had another Vietnamese iced coffee and my wife had a pot of tea. Good food, friendly fast service and reasonably priced at $55.nCalled in for another eat in lunch, ordered the same as above, still good
We ordered spring rolls it was definitely home made but no taste, the vinegar dipping sauce was very Meh.nThe rice paper roll was quite dry inside I knew i got the left over from the lunch time rushnPoh was the best out of the lot. Standard Vitnamese bone soup.nBeef slices was standard portionnTom Yum was very average. Not their strongest contender.nThe owner is lovely.nThe Resturant was very cold, no heat inside.
A family run restaurant offering home made Asian food, either sit in or takeaway.nThe staff is very friendly,and the food is both excellent and generous for its cost.nI had the chicken curry, which was full of chicken, vegetables, and tasty.nLocated near the laundry at the western side of the main street through the town, offers plenty of parking and wheelchair access.
