Lovely dog friendly cafe. The courtyard at the front is spacious and inviting. Service staff are friendly and efficient. We had the pulled pork burrito bowl and roast salmon benedict. Delicious and flavourful.
I very rarely write reviews but felt compelled on this occasion.nI have just had possibly one of the worst breakfasts I recall.nI order cauliflower fritters, beetroot hummus with smash minted peas, sounded delicious.nWhen the plate came to the table the waitress apologised and told me they didn’t have the pea smash and instead they substituted an avocado unripe.nShe said that they would not charge me for the avocado, wow generous lol.nThe fritter was burnt.nThere was no offer of a discount or an extra coffee/drink as a good will gesture, even when I mentioned the burnt fritters, the cashier said he would ‘pass it on to the chef’.nHonestly, a little shocked, it’s akin to ordering Bacon and Eggs without the egg.nAppalling, coffee was very good though.
It's such a cute little cafe. The food was great, and the price was reasonable. Lots to choose from the menu. Heaps of sits available. Coffee tasted well. Highly recommend!
Satisfying food for comfort served with attentive friendliness in a cultured historic setting. Real coffee with real flavour. This makes Bairnsdale a really worthwhile stop in a long drive.
Great location, good coffee, and fantastic selection of food. I had the chilli scrambled eggs very tasty and delicious.
