Story

Khing Thai is an authentic Thai restaurant in Kensington next to Doncaster Hotel.

We offer a wide range of classic Thai dishes as well as modern innovations using only the best & freshest produce, such as cape grim beef and pacific prawns, all served with care & skill by our passionate team of thai chefs.

We offer a full al a carte dinner menu, takeaway & delivery menu, seasonal specials, banquet menu, great wine list, Singha beer on tap and our famous lunch menu - so any time of day we've got you covered.

Dine-in in our cozy and modern dining area, or get speedy takeaway or delivery. Open for dine in and delivery 7 days a week from 12pm to 10pm.

Convenient Undercover Parking via Doncaster Avenue, first hour free and $2 per hour after. Street parking outside from 10am-3pm & 7pm til late.

This is our local go-to for Thai (at least once a week). Nick is friendly and goes out of his way if anything in an order is amiss. Most importantly, the food is great.

Food is above average but not stand out, nice ambience inside. Priced slightly above average. Worth a try, it’s one of the better restaurants in Kensington.

Good local Thai food, inexpensive for area and decent enough food. Out if a few core menu items but usually pretty sound. If they don't have your wine from the menu, bottle shop round the corner will save you! Pad See Ew is key here!
