Wok Station

Convenient location at the intersection of Harris Street and Miller Street. Easy access via bus or LR. Friendly service but can get very busy and service gets slow and clumsy on weekend evenings. They have a small outdoor seating area on the curb, perfect for a weekday or weekend lunch in good weather. Jungle curry always seems a bit too raw but the salmon appetizer and other curries are delicious. Decent wine list, nothing too great.

Food is good but a long waiting time on Frifays during lunch. Gets really busy. If you do not mind waiting for the food for more than 15-30mins then its a good place to go. Also they are under a new management.

The food is great, the chef is the nicest guy ever but the manager is a thief and doesn't care about customers. I realised recently that when I was buying a Pad Thai I was charged 11$ on my credit card on a menu cost of 9.90$. You may say "it's just a dollar" but when I thought about it, I go there every day so I spend there 220$ a month. That's 22$ a month extra. or 264$ a year. You may say that's their choice and my choice as well but it is actually not. By law they are only allowed to charge whatever they are charged by the bank which is at worse 4%. 1.1$ transaction on 9.90$ is 11%. When I told the manager she said initially said "if you don't want to pay, pay cash" which is not the point. When I told her it was illegal, she said she didn't know (obviously lying). I came the next day with an article for her to read about the legality of her actions and she dismissed it. A month has passed and they still charge it. Of course I can't eat there anymore (I don;t want to be spat in my lunch) but know that if you pay by card you will be overcharged. Food is still great though.

Still wandering how people could give more than 2 rating stars for this place? But if you are the one that love to dare your life and adventurous, try to eat here, definitely shock how do they still manage to open until this day..
